Lather, rinse, repeat; you still end up feeling like you need a shower to rince off the schmutz that stuck to you when you stood up out of the bathwater. Ick.
Skip the bath and go straight to the shower. Baths are for G-rated movie scenes.
I love the idea of a bath for bodyaches and sitting but hate the sit in your own filth thing. A jacuzzi is treated for our filth but is not for bathing. Big reveal: SHOWERS for me.
@olperfesser I’m planning to renovate both bathrooms here. The old shower stall in the back has a rotted-out lead pan, and will require much work; the goal is to replace it with a more modern setup that does not require constand grout maintenance. The front bath has a tub that I will not miss. Both bathrooms have ugly late-50s tile (one pink, one aqua) that can go away unmourned.
Yes
Mine does both.
It’s a grower not a shower. Wait what are we talking about again?
Shower for simplicity. I’ve always wanted a jacuzzi and I’ve had one for past 10 years and probably use it once a year LOL
My previous answer still stands.
@hchavers Why don’t you be nice and let it sit once in a while?
Put a chair in the shower, best of both worlds.
My dog absolutely hates baths; I guess I’ll have to try tossing her into the shower.
A bath is better for a holistic cleanse. Body, mind, spirit. A shower is a faster way to be less stinky.
Bath makes me feel like people soup. I feel like I need a shower afterward, so what’s the point? I’ve never liked just sitting in a tub of water.
@katbyter
Try showering first?

If I wanted to cover myself in the same dirt, I wouldn’t bother with either.
Shower, it is!
When you hurt real bad there’s nothing better than soaking in a hot bath of epson salt.
I love a bath but have rarely lived in a place with a bathtub big enough to fit all of me and really enjoy.
Shower then Bath then Shower again.
Growing up, I lven

We took out the bath tubs after my wife fell getting out, we only have showers. Easy to step into.

both at the same time. it’s like swimming in the rain.
I like to take sitting-down showers.
I once heard taking a bath described as “wallowing in your own effluvia”. Haven’t had a bath since.
Do you know the difference between a bath and baaath?
An American takes a bath once a week.
An Englishman takes a baaath once a month.
