@gertiestn And don’t dare lump Indiana in with either of them… what little part of Chicagoland that extends into Indiana is called “East Chicago” only because they won’t let a city have an “of” in it, or else it’d just be “east of chicago.”
@Xbob42 From wikipedia: "The original theme song was played on saxophone, accompanied by drums and other instruments. For this final season, the theme was re-recorded and performed by Blues Traveler with a distorted harmonica—one of the band’s staples—playing in place of the saxophone. Lyrics were also added and sung into the theme by the band’s lead vocalist John Popper. "
What I don’t understand is there is talk of a reunion show. So now Roseanne’s statement, in the final show, that Dan died is going to be a dream? I hope so. I was really pissed when she said that.
There are tears in my eyes because this is so perfect.
Now there is one redeeming thing about the show. Yay!
…except, of course, that loose meat sandwiches are exclusive to Iowa. Contrary to rumors, Iowa and Illinois aren’t the same state. Just ask Democrats.

Never thought much one way or another about Roseanne, but this essay about her experiences during the show and her take on television’s blithe dismissal of the working class is pretty amazing: http://www.vulture.com/2017/05/from-the-archives-roseanne-on-her-life-in-television.html
This is great… but the theme did have lyrics!
At least one season.

man, i loved roseanne. roseanne as person nowadays? ehhhhh…but that show, it was so great. even the set was great.
i was kind of expecting a joke about the two beckys in the song though
also, it was strange but nostalgic to see johnny galecki and darlene get together again in the big bang theory.
@jerk_nugget I was waiting for a two Beckys joke also.
@DrWorm They say she’s the same, but she isn’t the same.
