This is one of those nostalgic classics that should never be re-made. But if they see a buck in it I guess they will.

It’s cool that they brought back Tim Curry and I like Laverne Cox… but I’m not sure she can capture Frank-N-Furter as well as Curry did.
This is the downside to seeing a new version of something you truly love. It’s great that it’s not forgotten, but now we must wait and see if the new take on it can stand in the same realm as the original.

I feel like a similar strance is made about any reboot.
On the one hand, it’s nice to see them make a reboot (sometimes), but on the other hand, you don’t want them to ruin how the original one stands in your mind.
I guess it would matter SIGNIFICANTLY if they’re targeting new viewers or not.

Well, putting aside how I feel about flattery (and/or imitations), when it comes to reboots of classics, it depends on multiple factors how I feel about them.
This is a new low for Hollywood, remaking a movie that’s still in theaters!!
