@mehcuda67@shahnm Yes, exactly.
I once attended a workshop at work on planning and organizing, but it was taught by someone who was super organized. So she had no clue about how to help those of us who aren’t born that way.
@Kyeh@ladyhawke001@shahnm My wife is the organizer in our household; I am the lazy slob who provides her with challenges.
(Caution: some hyperbole employed for effect. )
@Kyeh@ladyhawke001@shahnm Truth be told, we are more alike than different.
E.g., in 34 years we have never had a fight - a few spirited discussions and/or mild disagreements, but never an actual fight. I can’t imagine a better match.
Can it make a margarita: Once you start self-improving, you might realize your margarita intake is a bit high
Well you could use it to write down the recipe for a margarita, then park it in the cloud, and then erase the evidence… although it likely is faster and easier just to google for a recipe.
I started writing with a pencil to correct my mistakes, then started with a pen because I was told too, then I learned to type and learned the backspace, now I tell AI what to write and hope it’s accurate and not plagiarized.
I love my rocketbooks. Actually just ordered this one from sidedeal, but through ebay.
Wish rocketbook had a planner with 12 months of monthly layout pages. I’d pay full price for that! Only had this one for a week or so, and so far I’m enjoying it. I’m not really the type to plan every aspect of my day, but maybe some day?
@LaserEyes It sounds like a neat product, but I’m still skeptical. It says you can upload to the cloud and then you can search with their AI or whatever reading your handwriting. No monthly fees or anything like that?
I use the non planner style for work and for the Communication with people about an adult we are helping out trying to get services. I used to buy new books every year, fill them out, but rarely opened them again.
I use them now for about 3 months, photograph the pages for storage, then erase the oldest half of the sheets. I have gone back and looked at the photos to recover some information.
May I be a bit of a troll in calling you out on not including a link to the last time you were referring to in contrast to the true last time they were sold, which was during a meh-rathon? I almost feel like a gift IRK would be a great “thank you” for providing this service. Almost.
I was given one of these as a gift once and it was thoughtful but not useful for me at all. I think the main use case for this is people who really like using pens or have issues typing (or speaking, at this point) on a phone or computer…for anyone else it just adds an unnecessary step and an unnecessary thing taking up space in your bag and your home.
For me, holding pens at this point is uncomfortable and there is no real value that I can think of.
In concept, I like paper planners but in reality I only end up using a fraction of a yearly book. I got one of these and used it as a project planner. I like how low commitment it is. I downloaded the app but I doubt I will ever use it for more than an occasional planner when I feel like having it handy in a visual.

We still do that, right?
@jsh139 You’re doing it wrong!!
/showme you’re doing it wrong
@mediocrebot He bought something from IKEA
I had one. Never used it.
@is61997169 me too. Thought it was a great idea but it didn’t take
@is61997169 Third, it just made more sense to use a phone app. I mean, you use a phone app to record the notes to begin with.
Perfect for planning PANDAmonium!!
I never plan for smart reusable pandas, does that mean I don’t need this product?
If I had the motivation to use this product as designed, then I wouldn’t actually need this product.
@shahnm This

note to self:
Plan on not buying this.
/showme a panda that is smart and using a rocketbook planner.
/showme a chaotic panda planning a margarita party.

I almost need compensation for reading this.

I ordered this on 9/4 and it’s still in Tx on 9/12. Why is it taking so long?
