80% 5* reviews on amazon, 9% 4*, pretty great for 5,938 customer ratings.
FakeSpot gives it a B, still 4.5*
Complaints are mostly “died in 3 months” or “didn’t hold much charge after a few uses”
I’m guessing if you take care of your Lithium Ion batteries and don’t leave them charged to 100% all the time or let them go to 0% for long periods, this will be fine. Mostly.
Missed it. … Took the time to research what iSmart is I can’t find it in their documentation or on their website. Does someone know what it means?
… for when these pop back up here?
@Chronicle Thanks everyone for your help. Looks like it’s a feature to help ensure battery life and have proper charging. … Although… if it’s so great why would you only put it on two of the ports? Is it only for the higher current draw batteries it’s attached to?
Ok…I just received this (yay!) and went to charge it. According to the manual you can charge it through the micro-USB or USB-C ports. I confirmed the micro works but I figured C would be faster so I connected it to my USB-C AC adapter (per the instructions) and nothing happens. I then used the micro to USB-C adapter that was included and plugged the other end of the cable into a USB-A port. Charging to the USB-C on the device works fine this way. Any idea why my regular USB-C charger won’t work with this unit? The only thing I can figure is that the USB-C output is 3A and the instructions say: “Use a 5V/2A AC adapter or a Type-C AC adapter to charge the portable charger.”
@tweezak Well, my edit didn’t work so I’ll try a reply.
According to the RavPower website this bank can be charged in half the time by plugging charging sources to both the micro-USB and the type-C ports.I have it plugged in that way right now so we’ll see how it goes.
I still don’t understand why my type-C AC adapter won’t charge this. It’s the HP type-A and type-C wall wart I got here on Meh recently. So far it’s been great for my Spectre x360 so I’m at a loss.
I’m kinda bummed by this. My HP Spectre x360 (13.5" ultrabook…nothing huge) charges from a USB type-C. I bought this bank as a carry-along in my messenger bag to extend my battery life. However, when I plug it into the laptop I get a message: “For peak performance use a higher power power bank” or something like that. And sure enough…it doesn’t start charging. However, if I turn off the machine and plug it in, it will charge just fine. Is this just a limitation of the current delivered by the power bank and that needed by the computer while running?

Worth it.
If this is the one I bought last time it’s really great.

I just checked, it’s not. But this one is bigger. Bigger is better, right?
Ordered first time around. These are awesome! Recharged my electric Fleshlight 54x in a row.
Think meh will sell Gatorade soon? So thirsty.
POPSOCKETS! SPROCKETS! DAVY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
At least there were more than two.
I too bought this when it was offered previously. Really happy with it: charges quick and lasts for a long time before it needs recharging.

@Chronicle I bought, researched, and considered my current power banks I don’t use often then cancelled.

@Chronicle @cinoclav
TL;DR
Should I cancel my purchase?
@Chronicle @sammydog01 No. RavPower makes great products and this is a really good price for this power bank.
@Chronicle @cinoclav Thanks! That’s like 20 hours of Pokemon Go!

@t0nyc0tt4m Oops, sorry. We’re sold out.

Stupid question, is this thing safe to charge my Switch?
