it did fit work with the older sonicare I had (as only the head goes in) and the newer smaller sonicare I have will fit in this new one maybe so I got one.
Well I learned something new and totally unexpected today, before now the existence of this thing never crossed my mind. My daily learn something new goal is completed 7 minutes in, what the hell am I supposed to do with the extra 23:53 minutes now?
I had to throw away all my extra toothbrushes when my adult kids forgot to bring theirs when they came home for the holidays. I told them to write their names on them. Nobody did. Son did it again the next time he visited. ok, lets face it, if I wasn't sending you $5 a month, there is no way I would have bought this.
The dog thanks you for the dog toys I got yesterday. The cat wants to know when the next cat toy will be sold.
@christinerenee Do they really recommend putting your razor in there with your toothbrush? What if you get little pieces of hair stuck in the bristles?
Are the bristles touching the light? I get that it's supposed to kill the germs but it's still old mouth water. I should designate the slots like the chicken/pork cutting boards and their contaminants will never cross.
@thismyusername does UV-C kill mold? Seems like if the door on this tooth brush closet is closed for 23:55 hours per day, mold would grow, no? (Especially with all those germ carcasses hanging out in there.)
@thismyusername as you can see from the first word in my above comment, I replied to your now-deleted comment claiming UV-C killed all the germ critters in "mouth water".
@RedOak the one I have now is the kind that you drop the brush head into it, so any water drips down into the tray... I've seen no mold... the plastic tray does turn a sorta yellow color from all the crap that gets zapped by the UVC... now this particular ones design? I think the bottom is open... no guess not... we will see! (to be fair the one I have now is a tower tube uv-c emitter that covers the whole tub, this one seems to have it all at the top... might need to make some vent holes for it as the light would never even hit the bottom where the water would accumulate)
@one_two3456,i want to understand the all about this device. Can anybody help me to understand and tell me about its working, applications, specifications etc.?
Kills up to 99.9% of nasties like E. coli, salmonella, streptococcus, which is nice
Another way to word this part of the ad: "Breed an elite force with vicious, hard-to-kill strains of E. coli, salmonella, and streptococcus in the comfort of your own bathroom, by killing off the weakest 99.9% each and every night."
@daveJay but regardless of where you stand on that, the importance of a proper diet, low on carbs and sugars and high in healthy nutrients and fats, is hugely beneficial to your teeth.
My wife and I also supplement (the only supplement we take) with fermented cod liver oil to get plenty of vitamin A and D. And then we try to eat local butter from cows eating plenty of green grass to help us get some vitamin k-2. All of that is in an effort to give our bodies what it needs to remineralize our teeth.
@daveJay What is this skepticism of? That bacterial biofilms produce an acidic environment when fermenting sugars? Or that this reduced pH allows the calcium compounds in teeth to dissolve and wash away?
That said, there's no evidence that disinfecting toothbrushes is any better for you than rinsing them and leaving them to dry.
@trisk I think if bacteria plays a role, it's role is greatly overstated by the ADA. Look at the work of dentist Weston A. Price and his research into indigenous cultures and their dental health. They had great teeth and bone structure (all wisdom teeth) until exposed to an abundance of flour or processed foods.

@xarous I prefer my mouth dirty.
Gillette Mach 3 in the hizzay.
if this was 10$ i would have bought it
@heehaw beer has adjusted my price sensitivity by $3 exactly.
Crap like this is what caused the fall of the Roman Empire
Anyone know if you can fit a big ol' Sonicare brushhead into this?
@pdhenry doubt it... my current one is this one:
it did fit work with the older sonicare I had (as only the head goes in) and the newer smaller sonicare I have will fit in this new one maybe so I got one.
A toothbrush sanitizer? I bristle at the thought!
@Fish_Kungfu Dentists have their own flossify on how to keep teeth clean.
@cengland0 LOL! Well played! :D
@cengland0 We have a plaque on the wall that says the wife is able to keep other peoples' teeth clean.

@Nikodemus aim higher?
(;-D)
Could this be used as a tanning booth by Tiny Tub Mummy?
I'm in for 2. Order Deep Acceptable Soldier turned up this.
What is the size? Ordered to see if I can fit cells phones in it.
I had to throw away all my extra toothbrushes when my adult kids forgot to bring theirs when they came home for the holidays.
I told them to write their names on them.
Nobody did.
Son did it again the next time he visited.

Good if you have vmp so so if you don't
@jareza or $15: http://www.amazon.com/Toothbrush-Sanitizer-Wall-Mounted-Jaboo/dp/B00D1BWUUS/ref=pd_sim_194_10?ie=UTF8&refRID=0R79VJCNAF0E70KNREXV
@Dierk that one must be a different model- only works with batteries, no ac
@jareza actually, no ac adapter on that one either.
Approachable minute space! Mostly need the organization!
Facepalm. I scrolled down to see what #8 was.
I put my toothbrush in a tumbler of vodka every night.
Wait, I thought Meh only sold things that exist and are useful. Is this part of Kickstarter now?
I don't understand the wall-mounted toothpaste holder.
Um, so you take the cap off and stick it in there. But then you still have to squeeze the tube? Or no.
And how is this better than the regular way people use toothpaste?
@christinerenee Or no, you don't take off the cap. The cap is the original cap. I was thinking the holder thing had a cap.
So the benefit is just that it's easier than having to find the toothpaste and hold it?
I guess that's kinda nice. Like having wall-mounted shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower.
@christinerenee Do they really recommend putting your razor in there with your toothbrush? What if you get little pieces of hair stuck in the bristles?
@christinerenee OK, I'm going to stop talking to myself now.
@christinerenee oh. hello. :-)
@christinerenee You know you can delete the part that @s yourself, right?
@jqubed But then it wouldn't be as obvious how crazy/tired I am.
@christinerenee Plus you might be happy to hear from you.
blissful-rainy-operation
lol no.
uh, put them in the dishwasher? works for me and I'm washing dishes anyway...
@robson I'm not the only one who does that !

@RedOak yea i decided that it was too boring a comment and pulled it
@thismyusername perhaps leave the door open or remove it? Seems like the UV-C effectiveness would not be impacted.
@one_two3456,i want to understand the all about this device. Can anybody help me to understand and tell me about its working, applications, specifications etc.?
"Pursonic"? 'Sounds like a cat product brand.
Another way to word this part of the ad: "Breed an elite force with vicious, hard-to-kill strains of E. coli, salmonella, and streptococcus in the comfort of your own bathroom, by killing off the weakest 99.9% each and every night."
@awk interesting point. Similar to the unintended consequences of using antiseptic soap for every day purposes and over-prescribing antibiotics.
I believe there's some well warranted skepticism over the common belief that germs cause tooth decay.
@daveJay but regardless of where you stand on that, the importance of a proper diet, low on carbs and sugars and high in healthy nutrients and fats, is hugely beneficial to your teeth.

@daveJay "fermented cod liver oil" ... Yummy. And why not skip the butter and eat the green grass directly? ('Sorry, couldn't resist.)
@daveJay

Another one of those products that I'll never be quite sure if they are delivering as promised. Regardless of this, sparkling-exuberant-bean
No bluetooth, so I'm out.
Melodic-Seductive-Twist
The number of people who don't floss is grossing me out.
I'm a little surprised this sold out.
Too bad. But if they sold a toothbrush sanitizer/speaker dock, and it was sold out by the time I got to meh, I'd be crushed.
On the other hand, its strange what some people will put in their mouths....
