I haven't played in a few years. It consumed my life for a while, to the point where my girlfriend (now wife) had to lay down the law to ensure I didn't turn into this guy:
For every hour of gameplay I had to do 35 jumping jacks. Actually worked pretty well...
I played a free 2 week trial but didn't find it worth a subscription fee. I play F2P games like Rift and GW2. That way I don't feel like I have to play a certain number of hours each month to justify the cost.
@unixrab That's how they get ya. ;) I forgot that I purchased the game for $10 after my 2 week trial was up because it came with 30 days play time. I wanted to get to level 60. Made it there and quit.
Can't get into MMOs, not even with a trial of WoW.
There is a lot of "free to play" stuff out there that is fun to play. Currently spending most of my time playing Path of Exile. (Free, supported by cosmetic micro-transactions). The Steam reviews are accurate.
@The_Baron understood. I couldn't get into wow (though I loved the original warcraft , warcraft 2 and starcraft) when it launched, because ... life. But 10 years later... I decided I wanted a new hobby and a decade makes a lot of difference with kids and cash and time... ;-) so.. I dove in. I love it -- did we just share a moment?
@unixrab I played a lot of Warcraft 3 and Starcraft back in the day. Defenitely have the kid+cash+time, but I guess I get bored with MMOs. I thought about Elder Scrolls Online, but it also has the $15/mo sub service. I think if I was less indecisive, I would probably give one of those a run.
@The_Baron ahh... man!... do it! I'm glad I did. It's been fun (ok...wait.. it hasn't all been fun: one time a 13yr old kicked me from a raid.. ((he was right!)) and it felt like shit... 13yr old knew more about the game than I did... BUT!! that's only happened once! (kids still laugh about me being kicked from a raid).. anyway.. ..... do it! :-) ............... look me up! You know my wow name :-)
Used to be in mass mmo's but never did WoW. Ran a pvp guild in EQ for a long time and moved on to Warhammer. I casually try them now and then when I am bored.
I mostly stick to strategy semi sim online now like World of Tanks, WarThunder and although I swore off SoE in 2005 I will be playing H1Z1 come Jan 15th. Basically games I can play 5 to 15 hours a week and not be behind a curve.

But to answer your question: Not me.
@DaveInSoCal wife plays poker. I play WoW. ;-) it works. (PS: I did not give you permission to use my likeness.)

Sorta, Haven played in Months to the point that it's not even on my new computer. lately I'm all about
@Foxborn The new expansion is radically different - all HP and Damage has been crunched to 1/10th (appx) of what it was....
@unixrab I only play to the free level, then make a new character
I don't play because WoW doesn't offer VMP.
@cengland0 stop trollin my thread boiii
@unixrab That's funny. Meh's biggest troll saying I'm the one trolling.
@cengland0 but you are. so stop. This is about warcraft not vmp.
I played Kingdom of Loathing for years. That's about my speed for gaming.
@Teripie heh.... nice.
Played obsessively while in school. Went on a general MMO hiatus afterwards though. I play a lil Marvel Heroes every now n then and occasionally Rift.
Can't get into MMOs, not even with a trial of WoW.

Sometimes I say Wow...and there's a really cool ice cream place nearby that is called OWowCow Creamery, which I always read as Ow ow, Cow Creamery.
So no.
But my BFF plays, so there's that.

I do not play WOW but do play Hearthstone which I love!!! I play any chance I get.
For the cost of one month of WoW, you could have 3 months of VMP.
@JonT This is perfect. Also, I'm sad that I can't remember whicih ep this is. I've watched the office like 5 times.
@JonT I like this!
