What’s in the Box?
1 x Bluetooth Speaker with built-in 2500 mAh Power Bank
This is the random stuff I want from Meh. I don’t need another bluetooth speaker. I don’t need another power bank. But I can think of times when having an all-in-one combo might be useful. And it’s $2. Even if I don’t use it and it goes into the box of random stuff I end up giving at some white elephant Christmas gift exchange or gifting to someone else’s tween who just got their first phone and thinks that any accessories for it are the coolest thing ever, it’s not a big loss. I would even argue that for elevating my relationship with the tween it’s a bargain! (Yes, I am one of those weird people who legitimately likes hanging out with other people tween and teenagers.). Thanks Meh!
Can be charged while in use. Haven’t tried to charge something from the unit while it is charging (pass thru charging) because the USB A (output) and USB micro (input) ports are pretty close together and my plugs hit each other. Will try to find some with smaller “heads” (out of the dozens I already have)
Sound is not as meh as I had expected. Not Bose for sure, but OK in a pinch or for kids.
Nice packaging with included USB micro cable and aux (3.5mm) patch cable, intelligible instructions, and a nice display box with a plactic bag overwrap (which means you can take them out to pre-charge them for the recipient of your stocking stuffer without destroying the box)
Over all, a good value for $2 a pop – especially as VMP bait. (wish I could have gotten more than 3)
@chienfou Mine arrived yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised with it. It’s louder than many of my bluetooth speakers (why do I have so many?) and doesn’t sound terribly. My one complaint is that the little bag it comes with only holds the speaker and won’t also hold the cords…or it’s way to big to hold the cords. It would be nice to be able to put both in the bag at the same time. But, for $2, I’m pretty happy with it and kinda wish I had bought more.
I received mine today, I was planning on a stocking stuffer. Just to be safe, I carefully took it out of the box to make sure it worked (and wasn’t too crappy) and… it’s DOA. No charging, no light, no nothing.
I noticed mine didn’t light up to indicate charging for a long time (10-15 seconds maybe) the first time I plugged them in to charge. Also make sure the roller switch that controls the volume is “off” which you can tell by the click it makes. All three of mine are now charged and ready to go.
I got this email today about my order of these. I’m bummed, especially after reading the reviews here.
Hello, Meh here, Unfortunately, we have some bad news. We ran into an
inventory issue and had to cancel your order.
We have issued a refund for the order back to your card. You’ll see
that show up within the next ten business days depending on how
quickly your bank processes refunds.
To help us say we’re sorry, we are offering a coupon code for $5,
which you can redeem using code XXXXXXXXX at checkout. Keep in mind,
it’s only good until 01/31/21.
Apologies for any inconvenience. Your friends at Meh
I don’t order much from Meh anymore since my last order received wasn’t what was specified in the description. It looks like I won’t be ordering anything else in the future. Meh is definitely living up to their name.
@ACraigL I bought two. That was a year & a half after buying items as gifts only to receive products that weren’t as described…like a night and day difference. My Meh experience in recent years has been disappointing. I’ve been a member only 5 days longer than you have so we’ve been around since the beginning. Certainly you don’t believe that Meh today is anywhere near as good as it was just 3 years ago?
