I substitute teach and agree with the model number. I also own two of these; the paisley and the rollover. The rollover has come in handy for road trips with my beagle. It fits his food and water dishes, food, blanket, toys, treats, and extra water bottles along with my overnight stuff so when I stop at the pet friendly hotel it is easy to carry his stuff in and frees up my hand to hold his leash. They are sturdy AND kind of cute.
Baa, baa, black sheep
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir
Three bags full
One for my Mehster
And one for my dame
And one for the little boy
No, Meh is too cheap to sell three!
@sammydog01
Oh jeeze, I didn’t know “NEEDING” something was a deal a deal breaker!
Hmm, maybe “THATS WHY” I have boxes of brand new un-opened “really cute stuff” filling up what once was a spare bedroom!
I picked these up last time and am very happy with them. My daughters use them for school and they seem quite durable. They are comically large for kids but my kids don’t seem to mind.
My son’s school requires mesh backpacks for safety. I’d ponder one of these for myself, but they aren’t teal and I already have a number of backpacks from Meh.
Does Eddie Bauer count as expensive and trendy? When I was in high school, you HAD to have an Eddie Bauer back pack. It wasn’t Gucci, but it let you run with the in crowd. Or the nerd crowd that I was too deeply entrenched to recognize.
@thebigtverberg I too bought these last time but have found mine to be sturdy enough. The material on mine is not thin and the lining can be wiped clean.

The elephant is really cute. I wish I needed a backpack. Or two.

Are there matching Fanny packs?
@Num1Zero I had my ESPIRIT fanny pack from 1990 until 2013. RIP. In it’s later years it went inside my backpack.

@mick For my youngest daughter and many of her friends, there is NEVER too much pink.

So done with tribal ikat.
I have designer handbags from my mom and aunt, but I still only use my backpack. A very hard no on these though.

The brand and style of the backpack is the most important back to school purchase. Must be the coolest brand.
@dyounghbic Needs more Fjällräven.
just NO
@rustyh3 just IN
@phendrick @rustyh3 Breaking News:
Bought these last time for my daughter for school. Top strapped ripped the first week. They are made of pretty thin material.
