I think I did better. I spent $31.49 on four six packs of beer bottles on my way home tonight. Sorry Meh, I won't be buying your wares, but I will be consuming my yummy brews.
Tens does help me..but only while I'm using it. It can also help weak muscles, like after a knee surgery, get stronger. I used it along with physical therapy.
@Mehrocco_Mole I have one of these purchased from a certain Meh-wannabe site. Last summer my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was experiencing a lot of pain. When we went to visit her I took along my TENS for her to try. It was such a pain reliever I got her one too. I got these for a couple friends, one with endometriosis and the other with MS, to try to help them with their pain issues. I HIGHLY recommend TENS for the treatment of pain. It really does work.
@Stallion Read the instructions carefully about not bridging temporal lobes and other nerve centers. Then watch idiot teen boys on Youtube doing just that.
@tartanknickers Yes, I use a tens unit for migraines when my normal medication just doesn't work. It help a lot if your migraine feels like it starts from the back of your neck. Tens units really do work and it will relax muscles. Different people have different results but there is no doubting the effectiveness of the science.
@tartanknickers I get migraines too and it's definitely caused by the muscles in my neck. Proof is in the neck injections I get helps with the headaches.
I have two awesome Tens units. The instructions on them specifically state to not use them on the neck. I assume this could be due to muscles around the carotid and may impact blood flow or something. I'm not a doctor so my opinion counts for nothing but I'm not going to do it if the instructions specifically state not to.
What is more interesting to me is when you Google it, there are many articles and videos that tell you how to place them on the neck. A contradiction for sure. Could be because of the type of unit I have is different than most and has three different modes and one can contract your muscles.
@tartanknickers Yes, yes, yes! Couldn't live without mine! I used to be laid up with ice packs all over my neck and head when I'd get migraines, now, like the others have said, I use the tens unit, and it relaxes all those muscles and eases the pain!
I want the one from last time so I can buy two more. Already used two refill packs and a new battery. This one is limited to back pain, and I have bad knees.
I couldn't live without one! I have a few, actually, but they are lifesavers... they work!!! I swear, I'm not all about the gimmicky stuff, I do like it to try new things, but on this, I am a chronic pain patient, have had a failed back surgery, etc., the list goes on and on. There are days when all I want to do is lie in bed and cry 'cause I hurt so bad. The tens unit helps my pain soooo much! It helps my muscles to relax, which is huge, because, obviously, when I'm in pain I tense up everywhere. I have had serious issues with my neck and shoulder, getting migranes every evening for a long time, due to the tension and pain. I still have episodes, but they are fewer, thank goodness, and when they do pop up, I use the tens. It helps when my prescription pain meds aren't touching the pain. I've never got on here and gone on and on about a product, but this is one that I vouch for all the way... I haven't used this particular brand, but the tens unit for me is a complete lifesaver!
@Baybay11 Seconded - they work for my back, shoulders and neck. Not as useful on my knees (I think it's a muscle vs joint/cartilage thing) Even my wife who has some odd electrophobia eventually tried it and worked for her back/shoulders too. (I'm guessing some relative got her with those peizo things when she was a kid, lulz) I have a cheepo IQ unit, can't speak to the usefulness of this one.
@Baybay11 Thanks for the review. I was not going to buy one until I read about your experience. I am sorry you are in so much pain. I know how it feels since i have a bad back and need surgery. I have been in bed for 2 days. I hope you can find a cure.
@Mellaine Thank you for your sweet words! I really hope you'll get the level of relief that I do from mine, and for the price, it's really awesome! My first tens unit was almost a thousand bucks! lol Of course, that one came from the pain doctor. Now I do have cheaper versions, and they have all been wonderful, so far. They don't always last forever, but I probably use mine much more than the average person, but that's why I jump on these deals whenever they're available. Please think seriously about the surgery. I went into mine out of desperation, when I was still in my twenties, and since I had it, I think I've heard of one person that had a successful back surgery, out of close to a hundred that I have talked to. If you want to email me, cregomama@gmail.com, I can fill you in on some of the things I've learned since having the surgery, which I only wish I would've known before. If you do go through with it though, I pray you'll be one of those success stories. (((Hugs)))
@Baybay11 I usually don't hawk products either but I saw your post & wanted to ask you if you ever heard about a product called Migrelief. I also have severe migraines (starts in my neck too), my neurologist suggested this supplement instead of adding more meds. I saw a change after taking it for about a month; my migraines went from 20 days/month to 1-3 migraines/month. Been taking it for a couple years now, really works for me.
It seems that some people who need to get their muscles to relax have had success.
I have ilio-sacral joint pain in my lower back/buttock region and it didn't really help. It sort of helps in that it distracts you a little, but that's about it.
PCH has made quite a few changes since Ed McMahon's passing.
BTW a set of these without the belt is $300 direct from their website. Pads alone are ludicrous. I can see the logic behind being in for 3 just to get the extra pads.
I can't speak to this one, but I got the Homedics Rapid Relief bundle a few months ago, and that thing saved my life. I was totally skeptical of this kind of treatment, but my backpain was so bad I was willing to try anything.
It took 2 treatments to all but eliminate my crippling back pain, and now my wife and I both swear by it. Sorry to get all infomercial on you, but I literally went from non-believer to swear-by-it in a day. You may need to have that level of pain and desperation (which I wish upon no one) to be willing to try it, but I'm so glad I did. Again, no experience with this specific offering, but if the application and results are similar with it, I'd say it's a deal.
@ACraigL You may be a little young to realize it, but very few things on the body improve as we age. Glad you learned a good nonprescription pain treatment method, because I absolutely guarantee you will keep using it. And needing it.
@OldCatLady I appreciate your assumption of my youth, but I assure you, I know the perils of getting older. I was, as you said, very thankful to have discovered it.
Let's just say I have a version of a tens unit, and I bought this too. I don't think I could live without it! CONSULT A DOCTOR BEFORE USING! But if you have any kind of pain I would recommend this.
i like this thing. i am currently electrocuting myself in FIVE DIFFERENT PLACES. i haven't been using it long enough to see if it'll help my costochondritis, but it's promising and it also feels great. i imagine, however, that it will only feel great for certain people.
if you put two pads on your forearm it makes your hand twitch!
oh, and the belt is so you can attach three electrodes instead of two, plus it holds the unit itself. the cord retracts into a pocket, so you can just wear it and chill with no wires hanging out.
@aurant Um, costochondritis is an infection in your upper chest with inflammation. I am confused as to how this would help it in any way shape or form.

@CrossIT
I feel people will buy this in a heartbeat...meh has their finger on buyers pulse...maybe not
How absolutely stimulating!
This deal looks fishy
I want to get it but I don't
Oooooo....this looks kinky....
@eeterrific I haven't heard of TENS units for electro play, but I'm sure it's possible.
@Kawa I'll report back after mine arrives. Now to shop for... attachments.
@Kawa I actually thought that's all they were used for until I saw them on Meh.
@eeterrific Pssst... you didn't get this from me. http://anna-braxtons-store.myshopify.com/pages/how-to-use-pads-for-sexual-e-stim
@WINTERMUTE Or try a violet wand, which has it's own very interesting possibilities. Or so I hear.
Super mega meh.
That is one weird sex toy.
Love the GIF. Well done.
Hey, leeches have valid medical uses. Don't throw them under the bus.
(They're slippery.)

A Shocking deal!
In for 3 Downy-Military-Trick
@Mehrocco_Mole really fitting image you found there

Once heard a lady had half her face go paralyzed after using one of these, I think I'll let everyone else take their chances.
@Stallion Could that be backwards? People use TENS for facial paralysis I thought
@Stallion TENS units are used to treat facial paralysis, they don't cause it.
@Stallion Will it work on my ex to get him to stop talking
@iTwon No clue, I just saw this lady once complaining that she lost all muscle control in her face after using something like this.
@Stallion Read the instructions carefully about not bridging temporal lobes and other nerve centers. Then watch idiot teen boys on Youtube doing just that.
This is a real shocker of a deal. And yes, leeches are making a comeback.
@robson My wife works at a large regional medical center. They keep the leeches in the Pharmacy.
@Steve7654 On which of the counter?
Anyone used these types of things for migraines? Just to maybe relax the buggers away?
@tartanknickers Yes, I use a tens unit for migraines when my normal medication just doesn't work. It help a lot if your migraine feels like it starts from the back of your neck. Tens units really do work and it will relax muscles. Different people have different results but there is no doubting the effectiveness of the science.

An affordable TENS unit? Very neat.
Self-flagellation in the electronic age.
WTM?
I say the model number could do without the zero. Otherwise, it's perfect.
Wife made me buy it. jumping-awkward-wave
Not for me
This will end up in Goodwill by the end of the year
I want the one from last time so I can buy two more. Already used two refill packs and a new battery. This one is limited to back pain, and I have bad knees.
@OldCatLady What limits this one to back pain only?
@OldCatLady just put the sticky pads on your knees - the belt use is optional.
Still trying to figure out what the belt is exactly used for.
@conandlibrarian Scrotoelectrotherapy
@RedOx Well, in for three then.
@conandlibrarian For your lower back
I'm gonna pass on this one, really tough choice though.

What does meh have against phrenology? I've got great bumps.

This isn't a TENS unit, it's a Pulse Massager. TENS stimulates nerves to divert pain messages from reaching your brain.
This stimulates muscles to ease spasm by wearing out/using up glucose and neurotransmitters at the neuromuscular junction.
PCH has made quite a few changes since Ed McMahon's passing.
BTW a set of these without the belt is $300 direct from their website. Pads alone are ludicrous. I can see the logic behind being in for 3 just to get the extra pads.
Does anyone know if the pads are reusable? and how much are they?
@GH0S1R33P0R They are reusable. If properly taken care of they can last a long time.
Why are there pictographs of cupping, ying-yang, and such on the display?
Makes me suspicious.
Also, can I use this suspicious thing on my neck?
@G1 That's how they get you, must supply own Wújí.
@G1 Science has proven it makes the placebo act faster.
@G1 I do. Helps too.
1700? Don't sell yourself short meh. All of your customers are rubes, cheats, and liars. :p
@Fen_Star HEY! I REPRESENT THAT REMARK!
This is why I love these and ordered one myself, so excited!
@aaaapatrickaaaa The guy in the video is a fool and I hope he never breeds.
Thank you MEH... I always wondered were the term 'blow smoke up my ass' came from, and now thanks to your link about tobacco enemas I have an answer!
BTW, the nice folks at PETA would like to talk to you about the video for today...

That's a weird looking MP3 player.
@jzmacdaddy The headphones sound terrible and kept getting stuck to my ears, hair, hat, everything. 0/10 I want my Zune back.
Let's just say I have a version of a tens unit, and I bought this too. I don't think I could live without it! CONSULT A DOCTOR BEFORE USING! But if you have any kind of pain I would recommend this.

Please do a bit a research before slapping thesethings all over your body. http://www.healthboards.com/boards/back-problems/179215-tens-machine.html
Nerdy-Jinxed-Goat.
BTW: If you have cardiac issues you might want to consider avoiding the chest area. Think about it. Wait until you actually need the paddles.
Still Okay to use on other parts of your body.
well that was an educational demonstration
My husband has a lot of back pain and he swears the TENs unit he used to have helped it a lot. Hope this will be a worthy replacement.
Just got mine but there was only two of the three I ordered.
@Mehrocco_Mole write in to meh.com/support for your missing massager.
@Thumperchick I did, thanks.
