Ok meh, I bought some, but... after making steaks with the Anova Precision Cooker I picked up the other day, I am not sure I will need them ever again.
@AnnaB so far I think it might be worth it for steaks alone... just amazing. I sear them off on my grills "infrared searing unit" after they are anovaed.
Tonight I made beef short ribs (185F for 12 hours) and they were amazing.
The only thing I am iffy about is chicken... I have tried several things but haven't hit the magic yet (It's hard to compete with my grilled chicken as I have it down to a art at this point)... but for steaks alone... worth it.
Other than we love our built-like-a-tank Oneida Dover pattern flatware (even if Oneida fails to stock pieces of it for 3-5 months at a time) I got nothing to say other than... that survey is a laggard tonight.
I have a different pattern, but I've been very happy with my Oneida flatware. So much so that I'm tempted to buy these knives even though I'm a vegetarian.
@christinerenee the Dover pattern is from their heavier (and ouchy more expensive, thankfully a wedding gift) line. Our stuff is as good as new after 25 years of use. Biggest problem? Pieces climbing out of the drawer to who knows where in the middle of the night. They must have a genetic connection to socks.

Those cheap Meh Chicago Cutlery no serration "steak knives" have worked OK as utility knives. So I figure I'll grind the points of these to a dull roar and throw them in the drawer as "all the other knives are dirty, I'll use these, knives".
And in spite of that glamorous mimeographed warranty page saying not to, will worry not about these ending up in the dishwasher.
Expected to find something interesting for peremptory-aquamarine-tarantula. Fail.
