@ooglek I got one of these last time meh sold it for $60. Battery wasn’t great. Connected to my phone with vibration on, i’d say it lasts 8 hours or so. I do get a TON of notifications so turning off vibration definitely helped, but the screen was on a lot.
@RedOak About time I saw someone else comment on the name! Oilio was my grandmother’s favorite, and she referred to everything by that name, brand name or not. That’s all I see whenever I see this product name!
Bought this last time it was on sale. It’s not bad. Battery isn’t great but it charges quickly. The interface took a little getting used to but didn’t take me long. For an entry smartwatch it’s fine, but you’ll probably end up just wanting a smarter watch. $40 isn’t bad though and it looks pretty nice.
I got one last so time. I have been wearing it daily since. It’s not a great smartwatch but it does work good enough. Someone will ask me about it almost every day, it’s a damn good looking watch.
I actually just purchased two more so I can have more styles to choose from.
It’s not worth the $1,800 list price but it’s more than worth any price under $100
@Ebrake You use yours with spotify? Looking for one simply for spotify control, could care less about other features. Basically plan to use to to control music for a yoga class without having to walk over to the wall with the phone attached to the aux cord.
@Delons Sorry I missed your comment when it was posted. I went with the metal band on mine, had to insert a link to get a good fit but that was an easy process. Its a very high end metal band that will likely outlast the watch. Luckily they are standard links so the bands do fit most other high end watch brands.
@a7xaudiojunkie I missed your question while the sale was live. But in-case they pop back up, yes it works for spotify, pandora, podcast addict, and just about every other audio player app that I use.
You just start playing on the phone, and then you can use your watch to pause, play, skip, or go back. No volume control tho.
@aarond12 what about those of us who set a 59 minute timer so we can get a nap, give the cat a bath, sweep the ceiling, or any other useful thing? We might miss a deal on an over priced knick-knack from the 1990’s or something.
I guess the fine print about this is that “reduced functionality” technically includes “zero functionality.” The only features I get at this point is heating up a charging puck and very slightly lighting a dark room.

@ooglek Seems to me this was the deal-breaker for me last time this was up. Like 15 hours or something. Potentially not even through a full day.
@ruouttaurmind @HotEspresso thanks yo! I’m out on your anonymous advice.
@ruouttaurmind …it maybe lasts 6 hours! I got suckered into the pretty looks but it is fairly useless!
@laner1418 It’s a shame. I want a smart watch, don’t want to spend. Seems that all in this price range bite.
See you in an hour, I guess.
Don’t do it!
@BillyMays this is invaluable information thank you and thank you reddit
Road block!! Detour…Slow down, the deals were going to fast…
Oh well, gives me time to figure out what to watch for prime day tomorrow. Meh could have called this “pre-prime day”, as it’ll be good practice…;)
Bought 1 last time looks nice works pretty well. It ended up a smarter watch than the user and I had to reset and resync to get it to work
Meh, I bought one. For $40, why not.
@Delons can I have the 40 bucks you don’t care about?
@RedOak If it works for giving notifications for text messages, it’s worth it. Been looking for something cheap on eBay for a while.
@Delons My phone actually gives me notifications for text messages. It’s pretty cool.
Thanks but we’re good on margarine for now.
@RedOak About time I saw someone else comment on the name! Oilio was my grandmother’s favorite, and she referred to everything by that name, brand name or not. That’s all I see whenever I see this product name!
@LexPendragon my grandmother did the same thing. All margarine was Oleo (or however it is spelled) and butter was butter.

@Ebrake Did you get the metal strap or the leather?
I just bought the black leather and I’m not sure. I don’t think I like metal straps so…

Based on that clock, must have a shitload of these left in the warehouse.
@RedOak Most of the colors are sold out
@RedOak I guess only time will tell…hehehehe ok bad joke but I had to
@mandirose I’m watching you.
Well once again hour between items–(
Absolute garbage by almost all accounts/ reviews. Don’t do it.
@obxer Too late, sold out
I bought one, then canceled after reading the comments. THEN I almost canceled my Fuko. Yikes!
FWIW, canceling an item does not throw it back into the mix. It stayed sold out.
Does this thing set the time automatically? How?
So close to pulling the trigger. I hope these go to good homes. If not Meh, feel free to drop one in my Fuko
Meh, I woke at 9 hoping for something that came 10m before. At least I can kill time with Coelacanth fishing in animal crossing.
@Tiamat114 I love Animal Crossing.
When an item is sold out, do we REALLY still have to wait through the timer? Bring on the next item!!!

@shawn I can’t click the meh button if I’m not signed in. Normally, this opens the login dialog if you click it while not authenticated.
@medz this should be all fixed up now
@shawn Seemed to be working yesterday. You’re a gem.
Good bye junk…it was an hour too long you were on my screen.
/giphy underwhelmed-acid-ear
Mine’s stuck on a screen that says “Right on time.” right after plugging it in.
What do I do?
@liphttam1 same here.
@liphttam1 sounds like you two will never be late…
@thismyusername If only it told me the time on the screen.
@liphttam1 pfft who needs the time, as you are always “right on time”.
contact meh support they are the goto for these items at this point, they will make it right.
@liphttam1 This is my issue as well. It’s never worked.
I guess the fine print about this is that “reduced functionality” technically includes “zero functionality.” The only features I get at this point is heating up a charging puck and very slightly lighting a dark room.
Anyone have a Rose Olio for sale (cheap)? the back to mind (yes the back) broke. Thanks
