Nose hair? Who knew?
1a 2011 research article by Ozrurk et. al showed a clear relationship between LESS noise hair and MORE pollen related asthma in folks with hay fever.

My reply is no
I have VERY quiet hair but no problem with pollen at all. (other than it bugs the shit out of me when my car turns yellow. EVERY.Damn.Day.) I guess I must be a statistical outlier…
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@chienfou Quiet hair?
@Kyeh
" LESS noise hair "
@chienfou Oh! I missed that in the initial paragraph!
@chienfou @Kyeh Loud Hair?
@blaineg @chienfou
That’s a blast from the past!
Gosh, a fibrous filtration system, even one with huge open holes through it, can reduce the amount of crap that gets into your respiratory system to cause problems. Who the fuck would ever have seen that coming out of a study?
Now, can they tell me why my sinuses have not stopped draining for more than 24 hours at a time since 1959?
@werehatrack
though the implication of only affecting those already having hay fever is the key to the real difference.
Mother Nature. She knew.
