My flight might be delayed a couple hours but at least I’m at the new Paine Field airport (took me about 10 mins to get here!) and not at freaking SeaTac. And first time using this handy dandy bag I bought on meh…

I spoke too soon with this post, shoulda knocked on wood or something. My plane was delayed enough I wouldn’t catch my connecting flight so I’m trying again this fine Sunday morn. I did get to go home and see the plane fly over the house carrying my suitcase though, I hope it had a nice flight.
I’ll be traveling to California in a couple of weeks, and I will also be bringing my Dopp backpack as a carry on. (It won’t look anywhere near as stylish on me.)
The first five days are going to be insane from a tempting-the-travel-gods standpoint. Planes, trains, buses, ferries, streetcars, cable cars, subways — and I probably should get a bike share and a Lyft in there while I’m at it.
By then some other poor clod will be Goat, so if I miss any connections they will be hearing from me. Loudly.
@TheFLP Flip, enjoy your backpack, I have been. And all those pockets. We’re talking crazy pocket time here!
You will be doing quite a lot of my moving around while on your trip! That’s quite a plethora of modes of getting around. Love it!
I took mine on a 2.5 week trip to France and loved it. Great size for all my stuff on the plane then perfect to keep all my electronics and purchases together as we traveled. Enjoy your trip(s) to wherever…
Nice!
You look comfy, which is challenging at the airport

You must be looking at the international terminal, what with those tails!
@PooltoyWolf there’s only one little terminal! Maybe they are the planes being built
@moonhat Oh, gotcha! They likely all share the one terminal, then

In the Goat Void—
Never mind, air travel has its own built-in void.
@narfcake @TheFLP so, we can’t blame you? What is up with thaaaat
@moonhat @narfcake
No, no, I’m still perfectly blamable. But I don’t have to do the heavy lifting of losing your luggage.

@moonhat
Yep, my friend in Southern California (who is the ostensible reason for of all of this activity) is encouraging me to play it to the hilt.
@TheFLP Ferries? In So Cal?
@Fuzzalini
Well, no. I’m getting to So Cal by way of the Bay Area.
