So most everyone knows that @koolhandjoe makes crazy amazing creations. I know they’re not to everyone’s decorative proclivities but I personally think that they’re rather marvelous. I purchased Wendigo from his Etsy shop and OMG I wasn’t prepared! Wendi is rather glorious.
I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get him into the shed. I was caught off guard by the last month’s events but am finally back in my studio. I’m actually making Wendi a swing and possibly going to put some wire in his arms and hands so I can position him a little more easily. Of course he saw the orange dahlia in the garden and had to pick it in honor of @carl669!
Now I just need to meet up with @PHRoG and add Kirk to the shed and it will be perfectly weird and slightly creepy. Thanks again Joe. You do some seriously fabulous making!

Inside is a wonderful weird mix of nerd fandoms and craft/making things. Outside looks like a building you’d find in TCM.

@Koolhandjoe Just the truth. I hope you don’t mind that I’m going to perform a little surgery to add the wires. I’d contemplated making him like a puppet with a marionette bar and strings but I like the idea of him on a swing with the flower.

@Koolhandjoe I just designed a simple swing. I had a suspended shelf that I thought would work but Wendi is much taller than I realized. I’m going to hang it from the ceiling and she’ll spend her days swinging in the shed. My son came in and was expressing both awe and slight horror. It was pretty perfect!
@Barney Wendi promises to wear a mask and stay 6’ apart if the boys ever want to visit.
@sillyheathen Doc Scare Bear will bring his own mask.
But OG Scare Bear wants his pearly whites to shine.
Somehow I deleted the, “Thanks for the invite. Do you think Wendi will share her swing?”

I’m a total HP nerd. I love the books. It’s so frustrating that people just write them off as kids books. They’re truly an amazing read! That one says I don’t give a Hufflefuck!
@sillyheathen I love it!! My mom and I have been HP fans forever. She actually worked at Dervish & Banges inside Universal Studios before being relocated to the Islands of Adventure Christmas Shoppe! I read books 1-4 as a kid, and only last year finally got to sit down and finish the series. Miraculously, I never had the movies spoil the books for me in all the time between. Also, you are very pretty.
@PooltoyWolf they’re really fantastic. I’m a huge fan of the narnia series as well which is technically children’s lit. I usually reread the entire HP series every other year. Yes. I’m a nerd. And that photo is deceiving that’s a combo of photoshop and spells.
