*MY* favorite deals (an observation)...
2It would seem that many of the Meh offerings that catch my eye, attention, and even -- at times -- some of my money, are the exact same ones that seem to garner the most gripes, whines & outright disgust from the Meh community. Has me wondering if I really belong here... or at the very least, how long it will be before all the Meh-sayers (and all of the money they might spend) guide future acquisitions -- since I'm guessing Meh's goal is anything but mediocrity in the numbers department. ;)

As far as any of us know, this is @snapster's goal (and thus Meh's goal): Why Sellouts are Our Goal
I think I like a some of the deals that get a lot of moaning too.. The first time today's camera came up I was super excited for it, but tons of people whined! I think it's good that they have big ticket items as well as super cheap crap, the mix is important!
Regarding complaining... I guess people (including myself) get endorphins from it. I doubt anyone's life would be made better if we sold something they really wanted every single day.
Well, maybe our lives would be better.
It's not really valuable feedback either... because we can tell what people want to buy by looking at what sells.
I don't know... I wonder what Irk would say. He'd probably have a pretty wise take on complaining.
@katylava Mark down a steaming pile of shit low enough, offer free shipping with a quirky write up and enough people will buy your shit that your metrics will tell you that you need to be in the business of selling cheap steaming piles of shit everyday. Doesn't make it smell any better - shit is still shit and if the PERCEIVED value over-rides the actual value, shit always sells. But, people that know shit from Shinola will still want to warn people they're really buying shit, when they'd be better off in the long run buying Shinola. Just human nature / tribal mentality maybe, but it happens. A lot.
@Pavlov ... but today we're selling a $333 camera
@katylava I like the price symmetry
@katylava
I love speaker docks. I have them all over the house. If you guys sold one with the older ipod connection I would probably buy one. I don't get the hate.
