One Amazon review actually uses the word ‘meh’ to describe this thing…so, perfect! Hahaha.
I’d really like to know if they’re using the term ‘subwoofer’ accurately here, as in a separately powered speaker driver that is dedicated to reproducing low frequency sounds…or (in my mind more likely) they’re upselling a passive radiator - which, while better than nothing at all, will fall well short of the low frequencies produced by an actual subwoofer! I’m teetering on the edge of just spending the $20 to find out. Google seems pretty barren.
Got mine a couple days ago. Plus side, the speaker quality is decent for something the size of an oversized phone.
Downside, the microphone is pretty terrible; everything comes through sounding tinny, and you have to be right next to it to pick up audio. Would not work as a conference room speaker, which is how I was hoping to use it.
Weirdside: the Qi wireless charger works fine, but since your phone is directly on top of the speaker, any audio comes out muffled.
Extreme downside: mine doesn’t charge via USB at all, so after my one day of use having drained the battery, it’s bricked.

@SillyScootScoot Are you just going around and replying with what you would personally pay for these offerings, or…?
