@awk As a former cashier… Please don’t.
@awk @DoctorOW How often did you ask a coworker to walk you to your car?
@awk @DoctorOW @tweezak awk-ward

@awk @tweezak Closing shift. We all left together.
@awk @DoctorOW I wasn’t joking. Don’t be shy about your safety. Just sayin’
Where can I get these? Actually, nevermind. I’ll just skip the middleman. Where can I get a jar of just the peanut butter filling?
Publix grocery carries
Reese’s peanut butter…

@DVDBZN I’ll have some Wednesday, I think. I’ll let you know. Reviews were kinda mixed.
Thanks! I’d really appreciate that.
Yeah, I don’t expect it to be as good as straight from the Reese’s, but I’d be willing to try it if it’s goodish.
@DVDBZN mkay. I got it. I’m super disappointed. It just tastes like generic peanut butter. Not salty enough. Or sweet enough.
I’ll stick to my Peter pan creamy honey something or other.
Oh, that’s disappointing. I guess I’ll just have to stick to regular Reese’s cups, like a pleb. Thanks for the review!
I have always wondered who buys the apples and bananas at the 7-11 checkout counter.
@katbyter I used to buy the bananas. I am subject to muscle cramps and I seldom pass up a chance for a potassium boost.
@kittykat9180 I’m so glad that this has become widely available in the US the last couple of years, after first having it in Germany in 2002
Suzy-Q’s. Or at least in the before time when they were real Hostess. Not this pseudo-Hostess wannabe. Ick.
Chocolate chip cookies
Our regular store has these little individual foil wrapped really good dark chocolates, straight up or various flavors for a buck each. Shape changes with the season (leaves, hearts, xmas trees, etc).
Otherwise, Reese’s …
I mean who isn’t down for some strange meat?!
@Hrairoo, is him a snack?
@kittykat9180 I mean… kinda I guess
My new favorite, Tic Tac gum.
(Also, most granola bars aren’t healthy.)
They don’t have checkout snacks at Costco.
But dayum, they’ve got that big jar of Praline Pecans.
Gum. Judging by my family.
not really grabbed by any of the food items at checkout, although i do usually read the headlines on the tabloids just for yuks.
if i’m in the store starving my go-to’s are either a jelly donut from the bakery, an odwalla blueberry b smoothie, or string cheese.
Altoids Wintergreen. Love the mints, and the tins are useful too.
Beer… what can I say. It’s Aldi after all.
Peanut butter stuffed pretzels from Trader Joe’s. Num.
