Morningsave Emails?
8I got this email a few days ago from Morningsave.
"Hi ,
You’re receiving this email because you forgot your password. Click the button below and you can create a new password.
If you didn’t request this email, you can ignore it and your password will not change."
See, thing is, I haven’t forgotten my password and have never tried logging into Morningsave so the need to recover my password isn’t needed. I suspect someone was trying to steal my identity (extreme case), there was some glitch in the mediocre realm (highly suspect case), or someone fat fingered my user name and requested a password change (ha ha, yeah i’m watching you.)
This may happen to people often? It does not happen to me ever. Anyway, be ye informed, or not.

@jaybird odds are someone else thinks they signed up for an account with the username of jaybird.
@jaybird or their system is going crazy, because I just got the email too.
@Ignorant @jaybird or someone’s having a good laugh at both your expenses
@Cerridwyn could be
@jaybird - I just rec’d 2 emails. @shawn?
edit: Make that 4.
I’m assuming that there’s no mass thing since otherwise more people would have come and complained.
In all likelihood, someone did it as a(n unfunny) joke.
Clearly not an epidemic. We’ve only sent 238 forgot password emails all day.
But we’ve reached some sort of weird meme effect where posting in this topic targets you for repeat forgot password emails for the lulz. Changed the title of this forum post to be less sensational.
@shawn only 238?
@RiotDemon - Oops, now you’re going to get 4 emails.
Oh no, now I’m going to get 4 more!
This has inadvertently created many lulz for someone. I’m up to 15 forgotten password requests. I wonder if there’s any way to track the requesting parties via ip address. I’ve some trip glasses i’d like to make them wear for a bit or a day or two
