Minor League Baseball Hats

Over the past few years, I’ve gotten really into Minor League Baseball Logos.

To up the fun and keep fans in the seats, minor league teams will do one-off special event nights where they’ll bring in minor celebrities or change the look of their jerseys, and it’s awesome. But when it’s at its best is when they straight up change logos as well.

On Saturday night we went to the Frisco Roughriders game, unaware that it was even a theme night. Now, the Riders have a great freaking logo already, but on this night, they really upped the ante, becoming, and I’m not joking…

The Frisco Corny Dogs

See, Corny Dogs (what they call corn dogs here) are a big deal for the Texas State Fair since they claim to be the inventor. So it was State Fair night, and they were the corny dogs.

Anyway, the jerseys were great, but the hat, oh the hat, it was a work of beauty.

Teddy Roosevelt Corn Dog. I mean wow.

Anyway, it’s an amazing logo, so needless to say I went hard in the silent auction to get a game worn jersey and hat.

- @woodhouse Just went to an AquaSox game with the family. Kids LOVED it - they got to go on the field for a drawing thing, got a game ball, etc. I enjoyed it too, but more for watching baseball.

Can’t say it’s a favorite, but the Jacksonville, FL team recently went through a rebranding process. Their name was changed from “The Suns” to… wait for it…

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.

Because everyone loves them, we have the Sugar Land Skeeters (yes, a mosquito is our logo!)

I am pretty sure that your Corny Corn Dogs should be called the Twinkies. That logo really is Twinkie the Kid with a stick up his butt.

The Louisville Bats keep changing their logo and colors. Currently I think it’s just “LB”. In the past, though
