@Artimid They don’t say here (and I haven’t searched elsewhere) how thick they are, but the ponchos say “hand wash only” implying that they intend them to be reusable. (I expect the tent is made of the same materials, but that’s just guessing.)
I don’t know for sure, but I suspect/assume that these might be more durable than the single-use survival blankets. (though I don’t remember if those are actually single-use, or just look/feel like it) But I don’t remember ever seeing them as cheap as $6/10, so we might be thinking of different things.

I looked at them through the prism of “if you need 'em, they’d sure be nice to have.” Mrs. H. & I have started hiking quite a bit, day trips mostly, and these pack away in our backpacks really nicely. Light & small, but pretty dang useful if needed.
