Microlife Blood Pressure Monitors

So, last week, Meh sold some fairly inexpensive "new" blood pressure monitors. A few of us received broken Blood Pressure monitors and they were definitely not new units. I sent an email to Meh on Sunday to let them know and got a reply yesterday that I needed to contact Microlife directly.

Yesterday evening, I got a hold of Microlife and they offered to send a return label and repair or replace the unit. They seemed concerned over the quality of what I received and I was told they'd escalate the issue. Yeah right, I've heard it all before. No big deal, as long as I get a new unit.

This morning I got a voicemail from Microlife asking me to call back and speak with the head of Customer Service because they had some questions about the unit and the source I got them from.

So I called back and got a hold of Louise. She was very helpful and offered to send me a new one free of charge. She also said Microlife is pretty sure that Meh bought these through channels unknown to them. The lot number of my unit dated it to 2009 and it was in a batch of bad units that were sent to be destroyed long ago. She seemed pretty miffed about it, to be honest. Bad press goes a long way and she assured me that Microlife would never sell these units and that they do not in any way represent the company's level of quality.

If you purchased one of these units and it's defective, Meh won't be able to help you with it. Instead, call Mircolife at 1-800-568-4147 and they'll help you get it sorted out.

Long story short, they're trying to get a hold of someone at Mediocre/Meh to work it out and track down the channels from which these defective units were obtained. Maybe @snapster can contact her directly via email: Louise@MicrolifeUSA.com or her direct number at 1-800-905-9499
