- @f00l The footage brings memories that make me heart-sick. A couple of my friends didn’t make it home, and a few others made it back but never really were “home” afterward. I’m hoping we’re out of the Middle East before my three year old grandson is old enough to enlist. Or be drafted, one never knows what 15 years can bring.

  We did kinda leave Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
  
  It was kinda thoroughly horrible when we were there, and kinda thoroughly horrible after we left.

Special place in my heart for the stones. Grew up listening to them with my dad, and got the opportunity to see them several years ago at Dodger Stadium… not too many other bands which two people at such different places can appreciate so wholeheartedly. Plus they have SO MANY hits
