Yeah, Fireworks should be Illegal… Oh Wait! They Are in my Drought ridden City. Doesn’t seem to slow them down and the police sure don’t answer the report line… GJ CC!
She’s anxious to go out whenever I open the door. But if I let her, she wants back in after a few minutes in the heat.
She’s also anxious to go outside and “greet” the raccoon that peeks into my kitchen window looking for cat food I’ve put out at night (and the cats have usually finished off).
@mediocrebot I knew it! Cat’s don’t need oxygen … orrrrrrrrrrrrr … they have already terraformed Mars and are tricking us.
/showme Mars Rover stuck in virtual reality simulator that is showing mars as we understand it today. Outside virtual reality simulator, Cats are laughing their heads off.
When I had a dog he was calm af. I used to say he was a cat stuck in a dog’s body.
The exception was loud noises — fireworks, motorcycles, thunder, jet engines. The one time I let him sleep in my bed was when I woke up to him climbing over me into bed during a thunderstorm.
@kittykat9180 Noodle, who lives in the back half of the house, insists upon having Her Human to cuddle up when there is thunder. Squeaker had many tales to tell about Noodle.
My dog is pretty chill - he sleeps right through thunder or fireworks. I guess being deaf (and old) removes a lot of potential triggers. The only time he gets excited is at fooding time.
My dog was hit by a car as a puppy. She survived with minor injuries but now despises cars and has a very difficult time riding in one (she goes crazy at the oncoming traffic)
@mbersiam eek sorry to hear that.
My cat used to ride up front or even lounge on the dashboard. For some reason, maybe it was Winter and it was cold, decided to hang out in the back behind the front seat. One thing I would recommend is a comfy place and blanket/padding. In winter I had a 12V heated pad so he could be comfy in cold weather.
She’s too lazy to be anxious. But she is pretty excited most the time she’s awake.

That’s the reason they Rulz!
I think I agree …
@cfg83 Mr Elliot sure does look like Ferdinand from Dungeon Crawler Carl.
@cfg83 I see that I have been Invoked. I hope you have a lap and scritches ready.
@sillyheathen
Mr Elliot is a real kitty, so I will endeavor to find out if this is true.
@FreyaCat
And an extra thick blanky for minimizing claw penetration.
@cfg83 [hops into lap and curls up for a nap] You are required to remain here until I finish my nap. You may apply scritches if you wish.
@cfg83 Okay, I have Napped. You may resume your other duties. [hops down and grooms, then wanders off]
@FreyaCat Thank you, your majesty. Your visit will be the talk of the village for years to come,
.
@cfg83 @FreyaCat it’s encouraging how quickly the cats took over this silly dog product. There may be hope for the future.

@FreyaCat @pmarin 21 minutes is too long to wait. Let me take a shot …

@FreyaCat @pmarin PS, the cat (women) already occupy the moon …
The whole reason the above “fictional” film was made was to throw us off the scent of THE TRUTH!!!
@mediocrebot I knew it! Cat’s don’t need oxygen … orrrrrrrrrrrrr … they have already terraformed Mars and are tricking us.

@cfg83 @sillyheathen Nope Not a wise idea, unless you want to spend a lot of time in a Hospital!
@cfg83 @FreyaCat Several extra heavy blankets for minimizing claw penetration. to be safe, then You have to watch out for the fangs!

Our dog gets very anxious when fireworks are being set off. Otherwise, she is fine.
