Meh was not so meh.

Last night Meh unknowingly saved lives..
Awhile back there was a deal of "Life+Gear 4-in-1 Emergency Lights (6-Pack)" that I bought and tossed in my work car. I used them for the first time last night on a mountain pass. Came around a corner and into a debris field on the road where a car had hit a guard rail and almost rolled down a 150+ foot drop. I was second on the scene but there long before the ambulance or police. Jumped out and grabbed those wonderful flashing glowsticks and back around the blind corner dropping lights as I went.
Because of those lights people were aware that there was an accident around the corner and were able to slow/stop before hitting the pieces of metal and car. Before getting the lights out logging trucks and cars were slamming on their brakes,or, going almost full speed throwing debris at the people there to help.
GG Meh. you prevented secondary accidents without even knowing it.

(The driver of the vehicle was okay, mild concussion and shock. Ambulance arrived 15 minutes after me and a county sheriff about an hour later with real flares)

@pitamuffin is right, it was you. Adrenaline is a beautiful thing. Bet your hands weren't even shaking, clear headed, doing your best with the situation, not thinking about anything else. You did good. After you left, on your ride home, bet your hands were shaking a little.

- @mick Well it was 40 degrees and I was in such a rush that I forgot to grab my coat so ... shivering is shaking right? It took about 15-20 minutes before I realized it was cold though.
