meh.com Thanksgiving deal

I'd like to see nothing for sale tomorrow. Maybe a "Happy Thanksgiving" message on the home page and everyone has the day off.

Thoughts?

That sort of thing really needs to be announced in advance or there will be a lot of unhappy people.

If we have advanced notice, we will be mildly unhappy in advance. Staying up until the deal is announced, and seeing no deal, would lead to major unhappiness.

I'd be okay with that. Sure, I'd be disappointed, but no more than I am when there is a deal I don't want. But then I would be amused that there is absolutely nothing for sale for 24 whole hours.

Thanks for the sentiment. It's not like there are folks over here pedaling to keep the servers up, but I'm aligned in spirit.

How about we compromise and just continue to sell crap you all don't want.
