If you miss a click you have to get up to 7 in a row to get the click calendar back on the home page. You can still see your clicks in your profile though.
Oh - if you aren’t signed in the clicks won’t show either (and they won’t “stick” when you do click) so might want to make sure you are still signed in.
@Lynnerizer Well there was this very long thread full of outraged people when meh first implemented this… where we tried in vain to understand the stupidity of that move, attempted to get them to change their mind, and spectacularly failed… because, well, it’s a for profit commercial site that exists for their purposes, not ours and apparently it suited their purposes better than ours to do this and so we grumbled some more to no avail…
@Kidsandliz@Lynnerizer My recollection is they had completely removed the function, and our complaints resulted in their saying (paraphrased), “Well, if you’re that into it…” and bringing it back in its current state.
That makes me wonder why they even kept the “meh” button at the time if it wasn’t for our benefit.
@Lynnerizer@MntlWard I am guessing that the original intent was for it to be a place for us to react to the product (eg very literal ‘meh’) and give them feedback. We then, as communities can do, did something completely different with it. Certainly it takes server space, etc. to save that info for each of us who have accounts; affects home page loading time (even if just a nano second…)…
Since they had built a monster (us - the community) and pissed off a sizable portion of it, they caved and brought it back in modified format (I’d guess modified for practical reasons - practical for them).

This kind of deep knowledge about the place results from an addictive sickness. From personal experience, your brain is telling you, OK, time to put away the toys and rejoin the grownup world. But the sickness reels you back in. VMP is a particularly evil and deeper degree of the sickness. Because you can get the benefits of VMP by simply being a “Member” and only turning it on when you need free shipping… and back off when it is a crappy product month at Meh. But knowing you’ll lose VMP forever - that is the really deep sickness.
Now I forgot what 2 was supposed to be. Oh well, I am aging and Meh-sickly. But I did click today.

What I do remember is some years ago he was on an anti VMP rampage across multiple threads (this was back where you could drop it and then re-up like you can do with membership now) and so someone suggested he be given it - that he didn’t want it was irrelevant… Umm well unless they thought it would be funny to give him what he had no use for and was against. (I forget the finer details now).
Who complained? Complain away. I simply suggested I would not be an entertaining goat. And I probably don’t have the attention span or time to be a good goat. Have at me if you want.
