And the winner was… @kdemo, for correctly naming all five of our Oscar Best Supporting winners and the works for which they won their honors. But really, we all won, because the forum discussion was the kind of interesting conversation that I’m always hoping these threads will turn into. Congrats, everybody! Only @kdemo wins the $5 Meh coupon, though:
@medz That is certainly not squash, as squash is played against a wall, like racquetball. It also has a strung racquet (like tennis and racquetball), unlike the solid ones in the video.
You might thinking of “pickle” which is very similar to paddle ball. As a matter of fact, I don’t which one this is. I know one of them has a completely solid racquet (like in the video), while the other has racquets that are essentially the same, but with holes in them. There is also difference in scoring and court size, but I couldn’t tell you what those differences are.
@hih934 You might want to correct your second response… You’ve spelled it wrong, and it would have a very different meaning spelled the way you did it.
@curtise@sammydog01 it ALWAYS has to do with a cat if it’s on the internet…
Calcio fiorentino. I should know better than to expect auto correct to allow non-English words so easily…
I know you said no acceptance speeches @JasonToon, but here I am all dressed up with a speech ready to go.
I’d like to thank everyone who didn’t answer the questions early, giving me a chance to play. I must thank @UncleVinny for starting the noted interesting conversation, and @sammydog01 for her pivotal role of comment responder. Thanks also to @JasonToon for his masterful direction.
I am humbled and will put this award to good use. sniff

I played #5 at the YMCA once. I got my butt kicked by 80 year olds.

@DrWorm @medz I’m pretty sure it’s pickleball. And I took a class. Although I’m usually wrong.
