@MightyE I think you might have 4 and 5 switched, unless there’s some crazy subtlety I’m not getting.
I don’t actually follow how that stadium picture leads to rope, though.

@Limewater #4 is Candlestick Park and #5 is a scene from the movie Rope.

As soon as I saw Revolver and the scene from Rope (filmed without any temporal breaks in the story), I pretty much knew it!

@MightyE I saw the lead pipes and Revolver but it was the candlesticks being held in the scene from Rope that gave it away. Ironic that picture was actually ‘rope.’

I had never seen that Revolver photo, and I would’ve sworn the guy to the right of Ringo was Ron Wood, and didn’t notice John & Paul on the edges, so I was searching for albums that Ringo recorded w/ Ron Wood.

Still looks more like Ron than George, to me. I never thought they looked alike.

• It’s filmed as though it was all shot in one take
• Jimmy Stewart plays a smart character, instead of one of his usual affable dopes
• It’s not actually all shot in one take
• It prominently features Poulenc’s Movement Perpetuals, which every music lover should have written on their soul
• It’s a cautionary tale about (…no spoilers!)

@Trillian Ah, thank you, yes, as I feared, a cultural deficiency on my part. Aside from a few brief encounters, I never had much exposure to the game, altho I realize almost everyone else has. Well, I would’ve never gotten that one …

@stolicat Interesting that you’re not familiar with it considering how well rounded you’ve shown yourself to be. Clue has been around for 70 years. Even if you hadn’t ever played the game itself (which I haven’t since I was young), there was a movie and endless references.

@cinoclav yeah, I know all about it’s existence, even enough to (usually) recognize the references. But however, I’ve had clue-less life.
