Long time lurker, accidental member!
7So in my fevered haste to try to score an IRK today, I accidentally clicked on the mehmbership button instead of paying shipping for each order (which has been my go-to since forever).
Interestingly enough, the IRK I was trying to buy sold out and my order didn’t go through, but apparently they’ll happily take my $5 for mehmbership anyway! (I got an IRK a few rounds later, but still seems a bit odd to charge me when the order was unable to be filled)
I guess I’ll ride this train and see how long I feel like staying on the mehmber rolls…

You can cancel your membership and get refunded.
@Kidsandliz I realize that - I just figured since I’m apt to keep trying to buy stuff today it might be worth it to keep. I’m slightly bemused at the whole situation anyway.
@Kidsandliz I don’t think the member would get a refund in this case because he did actually make a purchase later in the day. As far as I know, if you use the membership and cancel, you don’t get refunded.
If you cancelled before buying anything, you would of gotten refunded… But, if you are going to buy more stuff today, might as well keep it.

@ybmuG No it’s not or I wouldn’t still be here. You get to see the side projects get started like with shirts and pasta drop. That and the more successful ones as well like morningsave. It’s been weirdly fun to watch this grow. Not in the same way as watching Woot grow and then get swallowed up by Amazon. I don’t see that happening here.
