I bought two. They came charged and put out a great amount of light. In fact, I wish the dimmer dimmed more. Came in handy during a couple of power outages. Then they required recharging. Neither did recharge using the included cable. Tried my own cable to no avail. Ended up trashing both.
Thanks for the explanation. I understand your frustration now. Not a bargain for one time use!
And I know what you mean about wanting dim. One of my favorite flashlights has the ability to not blind me if I use it after waking up in the middle of the night.
Mine arrived already broken. The battery is rattling around in the base. It won’t charge; it won’t light up; it’s not even really heavy enough to be a paperweight.

anyone have the physics to know how long 4000mAh can power a 180-3000 lumens light?
@epicadventure 3000 lumens at 100 lumens/watt (standard Cree) is basically 30 Watts. 4000mAh*3.6V is 14Watt/hr, so maybe a half hour at full power
@epicadventure claimed lumens often don’t translate well into power consumption.
From https://litezall.com/collections/lanterns/products/rechargeable-vintage-lantern
“Run time varies from 3.5 hours on the brightest setting to 28 hours on the lowest.”
Bought these here a few months ago. Complete garbage.
@smittypap
Please do tell. I was interested in these. 3000 lunes max sounds great. Is this just expectations too high?
