Roommates that leave garbage in random places. Nothing like finding three empty ice cream tubs behind the couch when putting them in the trash can wouldn’t even require standing up.
Actually it is neatness that I rarely care about. If it is smelly, I clean it right away. My husband is a neat freak. Not a great match! Well, eventually the cat fur starts taking over , especially in the room with his food and litter box.
@tinamarie1974 I’m taking bets on how long it will take to get rid of all the Raven hair in my house and car. It’s definitely at least a year because I have to cycle through each season’s clothes. It does conveniently form nice little clumps that I can just pick up as I go up the stairs.
@tinamarie1974 Hey now! @Charliedoggo is not the goat anymore so you shouldn’t be blaming him. I think you owe him some peanut butter treats as an apology.
@Kidsandliz@Kyeh My dog (in the post above) had a double coat, so for a while, I gathered the undercoat and felted it to make dryer balls, but it took long enough that I lost interest and bought some on Amazon.
Laziness.
My stuff collection is in the way

Apathy

Cats, dogs, and clinical depression.
why no all of the above?
@texmarc No dog, no kids unless you count the kittens.
And I have an interest in cleanliness, I just don’t have an obsession about it. And I can tell the difference between clutter and trash.

@dontwantaname
Was your husband hard to train to use the box?
I blame @Charliedoggo. Especially this time of year. He sheds like crazy!

@lisagd @tinamarie1974 Oh, she was gorgeous!
@Kyeh @tinamarie1974 Thanks. She was such a sweet girl.
Cats - cat hair. Likely I gather up enough to make enough yarn to knit a sweater.
@Kidsandliz A friend of mine started doing this with cat hair, and inspired me.
The lagest one in back is about an inch across.

@sillyheathen Yep, that’s about right.
KEEPING it clean is easy.
Unfortunately whenever I go on vacation, GETTING it clean takes so much longer. (How do you “let in” termites?!)
