Aging! My Birthday is in January!
(Little-known secret I/we/y’all are always aging anyway each month regardless of birth month. It’s just the age number thing.)

My birthday, yup it’s sucks to have a birthday right after the holidays. Nobody is generous with gifts bc they don’t have any money from the holidays or they say you just got everything you needed a month ago. Nobody wants to come to your party bc it’s fucking cold and they’re sick of seeing people from the holidays or they’r actually really sick from all those germs people brought to the holidays. Mom and dad don’t want to throw a party bc they don’t have any money bc it was just the holidays. Did I say the holidays! Oh yeah and it’s fucking cold as shit outside so nobody wants to leave their fucking house to come to yours.
@macromeh@Star2236 my Dad’s birthday is Xmas day and we try to make sure we give him as much recognition as being his birthday and seperate presents, birthday cake, etc.
My son’s birthday is the 28th and he always just wants to have his birthday combined with Xmas. Not that he’s impatient for his birthday gifts he just wants to get it all over and done with.
@Star2236 Well now I’m depressed FOR YOU! I do understand your sorrow, I’m sorry. Parents should really think about that and nobody should root unprotected in the months of May and June! What the heck is wrong with these people who have December babies?
Now on the other hand, I LOVE my May b-day! I love the springtime weather, the birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming. Heck, even when it rains it’s still good! Well, it is a little crummy when it rains but these days I make it a point to be positive. I don’t need that negativity after so many years of being so depressed.
Why don’t you tell your family and friends that this year you are going to be celebrating your birthday in the month of your choice! I’m suggesting April or May!

January is fo slowly slipping into seasonal depression. Also for my resolution of “keeping a positive mindset”.
Recovery from travelling to see family. I am recharging social batteries. Also replenishing fridge. Need to buy carrots.

@Star2236 My dad’s birthday was Dec 27. He said he had never had a separate birthday celebration until he married my mom.
