Maybe I am not the only one who's going to be by myself. I know people bitch all the time about their large families, but in all my life, that is the only thing I have ever been envious of. So be thankful you have folks.
We're visiting friends in LA. Yesterday we grilled sausages for lunch then I grilled pork tenderloins in pirate marinade for dinner. We have a couple Bloody Marias in us now and are getting ready to go next door for a BBQ. I don't know what we'll be eating. But I'm bringing white trash canned clam dip because I had a craving. I forgot to get Ruffles, though.
I woke up at 6am to start making brisket. It's currently finishing on the grill. I tend to be deliberate when it comes to things I consume (homebrewing an' all).
BBQ is a type of food prepared on a grill. It is a noun, not a verb. You have a cookout or going to grill if you are preparing food on an outside cooking device..aka grill.
There is a gentleman that has a story on CNN right now that tells the difference better than I did.
This has been bugging me for years. Yes, I need a life.
Yeah, in my world, where maybe I live alone, BBQ is smoked with a great vinegar based sauce such as pulled pork: pig roast. Also when one puts that red, sweet BBQ sauce on chicken, ribs etc. A gathering where one cooks hotdogs, hamburgers etc, is a cookout. Different parts of the country I guess...Guess I opened a can of grilled and BBQed worms....
The be honest, I'm gonna...
@Ayer87 I miss Hyperbole... I am a Responsibility Champion!

@nadroj rofl I would love to see the meeting where they pitched that thing. The commercials are great.
Soylent green......
@f00l people complained about Soylent red, but it's still my favorite.
Everything we can. We'll keep the grill hot all day long, have leftovers for a couple weeks.
Fajitas - beef and chicken. Guac - NO peas
I'm from Saint Louis, here we grill the magnificence that is the Pork Steak. yum!
@paula St. Louis style hand-rubbed pork short ribs. Mmmm, mmmm!
@2many2no That sounds like a masturbation technique.
@Al_Coholic only if you have a sufficiently strong oral fixation.
@paula Pork steaks are sooooo good grilled.
@TheCO2 Baby arm! And then some. And very wrong.
@TheCO2 @pitamuffin Teenagers are the reason that some species eat their young.
@pitamuffin

@Dopepeddler @2many2no

Just had some cedar-planked salmon, cooked on the grill. It was delicious. Thanks for the cedar planks, meh!
