Is anybody here old enough to remember the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon?

My ex husband looked just like Presto.
@moondrake Hence the “Ex” part? Maybe if he wore Bobby’s horned helm instead…kidding
Remember it, I came across this in a bargain bin at Shopko years ago and had to have it! And yes I am aware I am opening myself up for ridicule by including some of my other Oscar worthy films I own in the pic.
@EffinMojo Also, if this wins the derby I’m buying 2 of 'em
@EffinMojo I just watched Crank again last night.
I also use that ringtone as my ringtone. If someone in public hears my phone ringing, they tend to ask if my phone is dying.
/youtube crank phone ring
@EffinMojo Ooh, Deep Rising. Love that movie. Dang, need to dig it out and watch now!
@RiotDemon I HAD THAT RINGTONE TOO! That and the Jack Bauer 24 one…
@giraffalot oh no. That office phone would drive me bonkers.
@EffinMojo As promised, I just bought 2 shirts from the Light and Dark side sale on Woot
Yep. I have the complete series on DVD. It was a great cartoon. I just wish they would have made a proper ending. I know you can find a story board for it in youtube but a real ending would have been better.
I vaguely remember it. I don’t remember caring much for it, though.
Totally remember it. Binge watched it on dvd last year. Will probably do so again now. Venger was my favorite character, while Uni pretty much got death threats from me every episode.
Yeah, it was OK, not amazing. I was maybe a touch too old to be watching it (jr. high)? Looking at the cast list, I feel like I watched it because I was super into Eight is Enough for some reason. I was going to take issue with “greatest '80’s cartoon ever made” description, but honestly Jem probably doesn’t hold up. I will vote for your shirt regardless! (Looks like it’s doing pretty well!)
I remember. I was more into cars and robots that turned into vehicles. D&D had the mix of (danger to the characters), mysticism and the theme they had to find a way home. I really enjoyed the show.
Maybe I’m showing my age. The first cartoon I remember was wheelie and the chopper bunch.
Interesting question. Yes, I am old enough to remember the cartoon. Do I remember it? No.
Old enough? Yes.
Nerdy enough? No.
I loved that show when it was on! It was just prior to getting into actually playing D&D. That show left a lasting impression on me.
I’ve actually never seen it, so I must be much too young!
I LOVED that bow. So cool. I used to find curved sticks and pretend I was shooting it.
I’ve never seen it, so I’m sure I’m too old, since I was a teen when the game was invented (although I didn’t hear of it (by running across a game in college) until around 1979).
