this sucks. it happened too fast. where’s the anticipation? the buildup? the thrill of knowing what’s to come, but just having to wait for it? come on, tease me a little. make me want it even more by making me wait for it.
@carl669 Exactly, it is great when we have to question if we even ordered something. Then a month later a box randomly shows up and we don’t know why. If I get this in under a week I won’t have as much time to enjoy the regret!
@carl669 well if this IRK is like my last IRK it will spend about 1.5 weeks floating around GA. Then I will forget about it and it will show up at my door about 3 weeks from order time.
Now, keep in mind, it will more than likely be delayed an additional week because there will be a freak snow storm in Atlanta and of course we know IRKs don’t like the snow and then they will start dropping out of the truck like frozen iguanas in Miami!
As others have commented, your shipping date and arrival date don’t have a whole lot to do with each other. In Indiana many of our packages hang out and party for 3 or 4 days or a week…and some take additional side trips before finally heading back out again.
What? You say there is a more direct route than the 2 long sides of a triangle and an extra 1500 miles than going through Indiana? Ha! Clearly you don’t understand how things get shipped.
Mine was the initial 12:00 am offer, I’d like to think I was one of the first as I hit the buy button as soon as it appeared amid the F5s, and was through the purchase dialog in less than 20 seconds according to my computer’s clock (I’d been training).
Mine shipped and I am already filled with regret. Mine was a VMP so I feel like a second class citizen. Last IRK I snagged was the first IRK that was put up-some really good stuff-none of that returned shit that never works. Expect to go back to the SOS for this one.
@carl669 At least you got an update on the 24th. I just checked mine and no update since the 22nd when it was in transit to Greenwood, IN. Apparently mine is walking to Greenwood. Started its journey on the 22nd like yours at about the same time. Mine is, apparently, still “in transit”.
Is this where we also tell what we got? I just got a 3 pack of Dickies work socks, a flexi leash with poop bags, a 5 piece lens kit (which oddly enough I still haven’t opened the one I actually bought) and an OFFICEJET PRO 6830. I haven’t pulled the printer out to see if it completely works, but dang.
Mine is getting closer - it’s finally in the hands of USPS and on its way from Reno, NV as of 3:45 am this morning. With luck it will be here tomorrow.
And I just noticed in the header background of the Meh Tracking page there’s a dim map that shows where your package is. I increased the contract and brightness on this screen grab:
Mine has been at “Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item” Since the 23rd
I do live In Texas and I’m super close to the Meh office so it shouldn’t take that long to get here.
I’m afraid mine grew legs and walked off.
