My first Irk and I have to say I am extremely pleased. I just got a 3 pack of Dickies work socks, a flexi leash with poop bags, a 5 piece lens kit (which oddly enough I still haven’t opened the one I actually bought) and an OFFICEJET PRO 6830. Scans/prints/faxes … guess I can save my gas on Staples runs for a while (or until it runs out of ink)

Mine is taking a road trip. It went from TX to IN then back to TX and back to IN and appears to finally be in KS. I’m of course out of town. So if it arrives today I can’t open it until tomorrow.
@remo28 Mine is doing the same. My experience these really don’t progress much for many days, then all of a sudden it’s at the door and everything is updated.
USPS is the least efficient of the shippers. Not surprisingly so, since they are the only one that is technically part of the government.
@ecanada @remo28 I have the opposite experience. USPS is the most reliable for me.
In this case, USPS isn’t the shipping company. There is a third party shipping company that delivers the packages from Texas to your local area. USPS only handles the last part. All of those detours are the third party company that Meh contracts with.

A couple of years ago I received a Deebo robot vacuum in either a Fuko or an IRK (I can’t keep up with what the dang kids call things these days) and after they replaced it under warranty, my kids’ old daycare provider happily accepted it. She’d been making noises for years about wanting to try one. Last I’d heard, it’s still quietly vacuuming upstairs while the kids nap downstairs

We use those Dr. Chill towels every time we go to Disneyworld. They do help quite a bit, though they’re not quite as big as the ones sold at the park.

I have received, over the years, 4 (!) vacuum cleaners (mainly Sharks,) as well as a (Shark) floor steam cleaner, 2 portable neck massagers and 3 vitamix blenders. None of which I need/want. Our local charity has made out like a bandit, I imagine. (although I’ve kept the bags!)

My first IRK arrived today. Contents:

As it turns out, I needed a new toothbrush because my last one (also from Meh) just ran out of new heads, so the timing was pretty good there. The bag will get used. My older son requested the humidifier. The rest of it will probably go on the ‘freestuff’ list at work.

@MagnusUnda The gum will give you energy if you can get past the God fucking awful taste. My son’s girlfriend loves it I bought cases of it for her back in the day when they sold it on here. Got mine. The anticipation was killing me all week. Today, a massive box sits on my porch and when I grabbed the box it was regretfully light. My haul:
-childs size 7 Claws (crocs for the kids I don’t have)
-a very busted up box containing off brand rose gold air pods (gentek true headphones)(I also own these in white From amazon and got my money back for them cause they’re the worst)
-lifestyle advanced Free Flow work out wireless headphones
-adjustable smartphone stand
-orange micro drone with camera
-orange IRK bag
All could have fit in a box less than a quarter of the size than the one they used.
Hmmm, my IRK just came, and it’s… been opened. Tape’s up on one side, pulled off across one flap along the top, still tacked down on the other side. Can definitely reach inside and rummage around, don’t seem to be able to take out anything big. No way to know what if anything’s missing, of course. Gonna take a picture of the top and open it up.
Edited to add: my mistake, one flap was definitely not taped down, so the box was rummaged through. Due to meh’s policy of including garbage, I can’t say that the (probable) toothbrush charging base had companionship, or that the wireless earbuds box had wireless earbuds inside. Can’t decide how I feel about this.

@mossygreen Odds are high someone wasn’t careful taping it shut. Let customer service know. I had one come that was literally totally empty once. About 3" of tape, big box, nothing inside. While they couldn’t send me anything to replace the irk per say, they sent me an irk bag and a couple of meh stickers. That, actually, was better than my last irk as in that one I only got broken ear buds and a bag.

I’ve always envisioned foul-smelling cigar-chomping warehouse supervisors screaming “It’s all just shit and garbage, throw in the box, I don’t care about the tape, get it the fuck outta here …”

Irk came even though tracking indicated, early this morning, it was still lost in space since the 23rd in Greenwood, Indiana (now says delivered).
One alleged king fleece blanket - looks more like a long twin one, has a big rip but that can be mended. Good for in the car for emergencies.

@evbarnstormer Just wanted to chime in, this ALSO was my bag! Identical down to the drink test kits. Sounds like a bunch of foodsavers were taking up space in the warehouse. Mine was packaged with what looks like everything sealed and it looks brand new. Never used a foodsaver before but I’m going to figure it out. It doesn’t seem to want to light up unless I actually put something in it to seal from what I can see. Thanks meh!

@mdjst5 That’s not a meh problem, that’s a carrier/delivery problem. I’ve had that happen once or twice over the years. I think if you just sit tight they’ll probably bring it to you tomorrow. Or, if they don’t you can call the local PO office and ask why.

My tracking showed my IRK bopping back and forth between Texas and Indiana, but suddenly it was delivered to me today in Michigan.
Looking at the other posts, it seems like there’s a fairly diverse selection of items this round. My IRK was pretty good value wise and all new, but not exactly anything I wanted or needed, so it seems to be just the right amount of meh-ness.

6 boxes of headphones including:
2 boxes of bright colored Pulse wired buds that both work pretty well and appear new.
2 boxes of Motorola over ear headsets that show they were returned defective in 2017. Plugged in to see if they work but doubt they will or be of use.
2 boxes were wireless LG around the neck headphones. One box was empty and the other had a VERY STICKY set of headphones. I cleaned them as well as I could and plugged them in. Likely still going into trash as I can not identify the sticky.
Very Meh but the buds are worth $5 and my girlfriend loses hers all the time.

Hey - quick question for anyone or @thumperchick - what do you do if your package says delivered but it isn’t at your home?
I know Newgistics transferred the package to the post office yesterday but it says it was delivered and left at my front door/porch this morning. I’m working from home and unless my IRK is invisible- it wasn’t delivered.

@trlenoir I don’t know about your post office, but ours now has GPS and knows when and where something was actually delivered.
A street that is perpendicular to ours has a house on it with the same street numbers as ours. The people that were there for decades moved and some sketchy folks move in and would keep my packages that were misdelivered. One time, they actually OPENED the envelope, took the contents out (flat batteries), sealed the envelope back up and put it back in their mailbox as “not their address”.
The last time this happened, the post office contacted them and let them know they had a package that didn’t belong to them, and clued them in on the GPS thing.
We haven’t lost a delivery since.
@lisaviolet @trlenoir Unfortunately even with GPS delivery tracking, I’ve lost items that were delivered to the wrong box in those centralized neighborhood mailboxes. Yes the GPS showed it was delivered to the right set of boxes, but not that it was in the correct box. USPS wanted me to go randomly knocking on dozens of doors to ask about my $10 phone battery. Good thing my current neighborhood doesn’t use those.

From what I’ve been told by my local post office is that the burden lies on the sender until it’s delivered to your house. So if it’s lost, contact the company and they should reship it for free. You might need to set something up where you require a signature upon delivery to ensure you get your stuff.
@trlenoir Last time I got an IRK, it was marked delivered, then marked in transit. They had no idea where it was until days later when suddenly the label turned up on a standing desk that they refused to release until I paid them $100 for overweight shipping fees… in other words wait a bit then bother the post office.

Why yes, there is a FoodSaver in here, what a surprise! Already have a much smaller one without all the accessories which I bought from here a while ago. Wondering if the bigger unit is faster, offers a stronger vacuum, or?? looks nice, but it’s gonna take up a lot more kitchen space – Guess it’s time to sous vide some meat so that I can do a side-by-side comparison.

I had emailed customer service about an IRK bag, and today I received one, complete with IRK like items. I feel so complete.
I love my luggage, don’t get me wrong, and because of it I am planning to plan a trip. (Logistics are difficult because I have no money) but it was super cool to get a random assortment of used and possibly, new, and possibly warehouse garbage instead of what I am worried is maybe a mediocre employees stuff that was accidentally reshipped to me.

@smigit2002 I received an empty box with the botox like stuff in a big ass syringe. The form insert in the shape of the syringe and the box is all I got so that is a thing they do throw empty boxes in there.

My IRK has arrived, and Meh added extra convenience by having it pre-opened before arrival! Looks like the tape job was completely botched, only a tiny slip of tape was actually over the sides and the loose contents meant something else probably made it cave in. But who knows what regret I am missing out on!
If someone did take items out it looks like they mostly got the regret, though, as my haul is decent:

Just arrived. Not the best but not the worst:
-2 monster screen clean kits that will maybe eventually get used?
-A charging case for an iPhone 6p. Completely useless for me as I wouldn’t even consider getting an iPhone, but maybe someone will want it at a garage sale?
-One of those phone charging, rfid blocking wallets. Nice color, but it’s not my style (thanks for leaving the original $50 price tag on it).
-Another power bank. Asmall stick with marijuana leaves on it that doesn’t seem to have a charge or accept one, but the flashlight works when it’s plugged in, so…
-A nexbelt. A belt that was in a hard plastic case, and the only thing in the box protected by bubble wrap. Priorities. Again, not my style, but I may try it out before it goes in the garage sale box.
-A primula cold brew coffee maker. This is actually pretty nice, and has great reviews. I don’t drink coffee much, but I might find myself using it for tea or something. Win.
-orange irk bag. As of January 1st Oregon requires a charge of at least 5¢ each for disposable bags. This one will be joining the others in my car to still be forgotten when I go into the store.
My IDK finally came today! It contained:
The packaging was amusingly terrible. Tape was barely holding the box shut, and the glasses had come completely out of their box and we’re clattering around in the cavernous space inside the mostly-empty box. Amazingly, none of the glasses broke.

@mossygreen Well, it’s new as in “open box” new, but the main unit and accessories all seem to be in still taped, unused condition. According to the packing list, the only thing missing is the hose for use with the food containers. I checked the company website and can get a replacement hose for only $3. So still a major score for me. Thanks!

One apparently new/unopened Roolen smart humidifier. Amazingly timely for a meh purchase. We pulled our humidifier out of the attic last week, and one of the crucial parts was not in place. I wasn’t looking forward to hunting said part down. So there’s that. And I abhor stupid or foolish humidifiers, so this may be a win.
My wife will get first right of refusal on the items of high distaff desirability, then I’ll need to decide whether my daughter or daughter-in-law get second right of refusal.
(Knowing my daughter and daughter-in-law, they will each make sure the other gets the more desirable items.)
Amazingly, not a knife or flashlight or speaker dock, or bluetooth anywhere. Truly a first.

Ahhh yes my favorite depressed days of the year…IRK(and BOC) reveal post days. A time when I get to enviously get to read all of your fortunate(and misfortunate) $5 findings. But you see the regret I get is so much more instant than all of yours, immediate in fact. For you see, all of the time I’ve spent on meh.com & woot com I have yet to conquer the IRK or BOC(although I did manage to get one fuku but it was durring the round when they were getting phased out and one would really have to make an effort to not receive one of those bad boys.) It’s not for lack of effort either because I really do try and all of the one time alarms that I have set on my phone over the years is evidence. So does that mean that I really actually win each time because I’m really living in the spirit of the event by getting the ultimate Instant regret??? It’s a thinker but nevertheless exponentially depressing for each one that goes by unsuccessful. I still keep coming back almost every day though. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment. Or something…

Box of mediocrity. Nothing worth keeping, aside from the tote bag: size L cotton robe with peach stripes, purse with battery pack, argan(e) oil conditioner, and “smart” humidifier that doesn’t integrate with anything. Wife and kids just want it to disappear. My prior IRK was similarly useless.

So I made an account ages ago but just recently started checking in again. I know I’m a total noob, but I’ve spent ten minutes on Google to no avail - what are these irk bags? Is it something that’s randomly posted as an offer, sort of like a mystery box thing, and you’ve just got to notice when it is? I can’t find anything in the FAQ or elsewhere - sorry if this is a dumb question.

Got that Drone on mystery Drone buy for 6 bucks and it just got here today. If you wreck it at all, do the recalibration again or it will fly off like a mad man. Not due to bent blades or anything. It just can’t keep it’s gyros in order on what way is up.

I received a foam mat with “PALM” stamped into it. It also has an adhesive back so it can be stuck to something. I have absolutely no idea what its intended use is.
