@Kidsandliz I know and I had kept refreshing and refreshing and miss hitting the I’m not a robot and had to go back. I thought no I’m not gonna get it even after I ordered it. I was like wow I’m so excited.
@hpw3inc Haha I got to the point of checking out but realized I didn’t really wanna spend $50 on IRKs today so thank you for telling me what I wanted to know.
@aethermancer@Kidsandliz
Knew it was the rule, but what can I say… like to test boundaries? How random was it to come back to see an IRK available when I’d just clicked on MEH to see what other fabulous thing was up for grabs in the Meh-rathon I couldn’t live without.
A 2nd one would have been instant regret for sure! Marginally regretting my 1st one.
It’s the only gambling I allow myself. Unfortunately I got one of those $300 “broken” items and was able to fix it so now I’m chasing that high forever.
I was so surprised when I had more than just a second to buy one. I tried to click as fast as I could to get mine. I have a problem with what I call my “instant regret kit.” When I was a kid, it was the adults who received all the Christmas presents. The kids would only get some socks, underwear, pajamas, and maybe a toy, if we were lucky. It depended on how hard the year had been; often, it was just socks and a toy.
I remember my grandpa getting all the coolest and most sought-after toys, and I never understood why they bought him toys—he was a grown man, and we were never allowed to play with them. My parents received a lot of gifts, as did my aunts and uncles; my grandparents had a whole heap of presents. The kids were left with only two presents to unwrap from Santa Claus, and that was it.
When I grew older, I always made sure my kids received the most presents because I believed Christmas should be for the children. Even after my children grew up, I still didn’t receive many gifts. They struggled financially, and I didn’t want them to spend money on Christmas for me. I wanted them to focus on their children, and I made sure to spend money on their kids’ Christmas as well.
Because of this, I’ve always felt deprived of gifts, as if I were somehow unwanted or unloved. I know that isn’t true, and I realize it’s not logical, but I love the instant regret kit. It makes me feel like I’m making up for all those Christmases and birthdays where I didn’t receive presents. Sometimes the surprises are good, and sometimes they are just “meh.”
Well last one was a little sucky but actually had several stocking stuffers so it was cool with me.
Hoping we get at least 1 good thing and then trackers for the rest…meh!
@Creefast22 I’m counting on some bizarre stocking stuffers in my first ever IRK. Or maybe another bluetooth speaker to go with the five I’ve already bought this month, one of which was broken.

I can’t believe 1 min and 40 seconds into this it’s still not sold out!
@Kidsandliz Is it the $20 or is it that people finally realized it really was crap?
@Kidsandliz I know and I had kept refreshing and refreshing and miss hitting the I’m not a robot and had to go back. I thought no I’m not gonna get it even after I ordered it. I was like wow I’m so excited.
Tried to buy a 2nd one out of curiosity… nope, I can only have one regret this holiday season. Good Luck to all!
@hpw3inc lol same
My kids think these are the best for some reason.
@aethermancer @hpw3inc Yup those are the rules. One irk only.
@hpw3inc Haha I got to the point of checking out but realized I didn’t really wanna spend $50 on IRKs today so thank you for telling me what I wanted to know.
@hpw3inc Ah, but when you get the IRK you’ll have a whole season’s worth of regrets. I certainly can’t wait. It will be my first IRK!!

@ItalianScallion May the Virgin IRK Gods be in your favor!

@aethermancer @hpw3inc @ItalianScallion It’s all been downhill since I got the (broken) electric scooter.
On the other hand, I can play for quite a while and still be ahead.
Scored! How is it still available??? I could have checked out a second time!
@marctr People are eating dinner maybe?
@marctr $20 is at the upper limit where these are enticing. Especially with how bad they have been lately.

Well, here’s hoping something good comes of this year. Not holding my breath, because it’s been pretty damned sucky.

Been a while since I scored one of these. Just in time for that good ole holiday disappointment and regret. Thanks, Meh!

No Rocky…. Don’t tell me about the Bluetooth speakers. I just ordered 2 for my niece. Congrats on your first IRK… may your regret be a huge meh! Enjoy
