Inflatable of the Day 4/25
12For today, I have another canine inflatable, the PuffyPaws Timber Wolf! This one is among the most popular and sought after custom inflatables, to the point that PuffyPaws has run the design three separate times. He’s about 7 feet long, in a playful pouncing pose, and has a big wide smile and blue eyes. His legs are separate air chambers. His back is curved just right for being used as a chair to lounge in! My wolf is from the second run and is named Kaiser, after a friend.

Awwww!
Nice!
Wondering:
What is the intended purpose for the very large (over 6’) inflatables?
It seems some are too large for most to have inflated on their lawns for long.
Are they usually for advertising to attract attention to a business?
Maybe they are inexpensive enough to purchase for a party?
So many questions… It’s really cool seeing them here.
@daveinwarsh They can be used for whatever you want! They make great mascots, advertising helpers, lounge chairs, beds, pool floats, snuggle partners, and more. The cost depends on the size, company selling, and number produced in the run, but for something this size (6 to 7 feet) it’s generally between $350-$500.
This made me look up timber wolves because he looks so ready to play. I was thinking I wouldn’t play with a live wolf.
What I learned: there are several wolf types that are “timber wolves” (i.e. wolf species with predominately forest habitats). None seem aggressive to humans (tend to stay away, very few reported attacks).
Thanks for giving me something new to know.
(I liked the first giphy then needed to edit and can’t get that first one back!)

Trying again and again.

Still not it, but I am running out of edit time, so cutting my losses with one I can live with.
@mollama ‘Timber wolf’ is often a genericized way to refer to the species properly known as the gray wolf. They are naturally very wary of humans and avoid conflict when healthy. We could learn a lot from them
