How about we start a campaign to vote out EVERBODY – Democrat or Republican, Libertarian or independent – in congress that won’t apply the same rules to themselves that they do to the electorate.

While I agree with your premise, the article doesn’t make it look bipartisan at all. Looks like Rep. cronyism to me.
They have no respect at all for the privacy of the public, and they’re also showing themselves to be vengeful.

Terrifying.
@KDemo So which Democrats are sponsoring bills to require Congress to follow their own rules they make for their constituents?
Congress is exempt from Freedom of Information Act, according to my link.
Congress is exempt from Obama care – they gave themselves something better.
Congress has better retirement after one term than our military does after 20 years.
Congress gets more time off than professional students.
Are the Democrats trying to overturn these rules any more than the Republicans? I think not – correct me if I am wrong.
The problem is not the Republicans. The problem is professional politicos on BOTH sides. Are you telling me Republicans are bought and paid for, but the Democrats are not?
@phendrick Congress has to have obama care, they get 1/2 paid though most execs get free healthcare.
@phendrick The problem is exactly Republicans. The national debt typically doubles under each Republican administration. Remember the we don’t need surpluses speech in 2001 it’s supposed to be all better now. Well the surpluses went away along with rational patent and copyright laws and today no one can afford to be sick except the top 10% of America. Yet we seem to need another round of tax cuts because there seems to be not enough deficit spending to make Republican debt builders happy. Maybe we need another war to accelerate the process the media is hampering the Republican3rd worldification of America. Lets make America despotic for most of society again. Say lets bring back black lung, lung cancer and child labor, you know when America was great.
@phendrick Do you know how ideas end up as actual law? The Dems are the minority party; they have no power at all to pass legislation unless the Repubs agree to it. Meanwhile, I haven’t seen more than one or two Dems who support any of the give-up-your-privacy bills the Repubs keep generating.
Hell, in Florida the top-heavy-with-Repubs made it legal for the DMV to sell private information, including email addresses and phone numbers.
I can spell, I just can’t always type correctly. I think I hit keys hard enough, but apparently don’t.
