Sounds like a stopover... Hopefully you had a few minutes while in the DFW airport and were able to pop into Cousin's Texas Bar✩B✩Q... It's really the only reason I like using DFW as a hub to get places (they are in terminals B & D). On my most recent visit: Brisket, ribs, and pulled pork... OM NOM. They even have a special spinning warm roller thing that they drape your bread over to butter it! DAMN IT!!! Now I'm craving BBQ...
@DaveInSoCal many years ago I met The Pogues on the DFW train. they were on a layover and not touring the US. they were kinda drunk and were amazed that three dudes in Texas recognized them... oh, and they could not figure out where to get off the train .
Hopefully you are off to somewhere cooler. My a/c has been running nonstop and is still not keeping up. Sorry, the heat is all I can think about right now. Hope you had a safe flight!

@jqubed I had Tony Luke's at the Philly airport during a short layover a few months back and I can confidently say that it was damn good airport food.
