@medz Those'll do. medz, those'll do. And thank you.
It's funny how much more maniacal a troll puppet looks when you can't hear what it's saying. I go back and forth about whether I love it or hate it. Which seems appropriate.
It occurs to me that puppets are a form of Greek theater and the functionally overplayed motions can look weird out of context.
Don't get me wrong, I like them. They're just a little creepy--even more so than Irk usually is.
@ACraigL once upon a time @Starblinddug up a faq which states " Treat numerals as you would letters of the alphabet; that is, let each numeral count as a letter. Thus 3, IV, 666, and 299 are all acceptable in writing."
(I feel compelled to point out, as I think I've otherwise noted in these forums, that I loathe the expression "no pun intended" with a loathing beyond words. It works here only in that it mocks itself.)
Auto-tuned.
I hope we kept the receipt for our autotuner
@matthew If it wasn't tuned, it fooled me - and I use Antares products in suite almost daily.
Straight up excellent job. Maybe the best Ape Den lyrics yet.
The laugh after saying the word irk was absolute perfection.
@conandlibrarian My favorite part.
@conandlibrarian It was genius. @medz, a gif with captions, please?
@joelmw probably not what you had in mind...
@joelmw Maybe this?
@medz Those'll do. medz, those'll do. And thank you.

@joelmw yeah. Pretty tough to gif irk. His yap flaps too fast.
You go, Irk.
I have to admit, this was one of the better ones. Nice job Irk.
I think I like this better than the original.
@mehgrl What, there's doubt about it? This is waaaaaaayyyyy better than the original.
"I do not dig you, not one bit..." just love this line!
Irk, you made my Monday morning. Thank you.
Not to nitpick, because that was amazing, but not sure '180' qualifies as a three-letter word. You know, because of the the numbers and all.
Otherwise -- perfection.
@ACraigL Wasn't this comment specifically to nitpick?
@MEHcus Not to not nitpick.
@ACraigL once upon a time @Starblind dug up a faq which states " Treat numerals as you would letters of the alphabet; that is, let each numeral count as a letter. Thus 3, IV, 666, and 299 are all acceptable in writing."
@katylava Good to know it's in the bylaws. Thanks :)
@MEHcus @ACraigL Yeah, I think "not to nitpick" was a lousy thing to say. No pun intended.

It's even better than the alien version, which I thought was impossible. How about a mashup of the two? That would prolly win some awards.
I am hopelessly in love with this, 180 & all.
Fucking brilliant.
This is funnier if you ignore the colon in the thread title.
@KDemo Maybe not funnier, but definitely funny in its own right. :-D
Go to a bit set?? Didn't get that reference. I love go on and get, though.
@Pamtha "Set" is plural in mad ape den. So "bit set" is "bits".
Standing O!
@SSteve Did you get a headache afterwards? Sudden loss of hearing?
Want a different take on "I Will Survive"? Find Young@Heart's version. Different connotation when sung by an 80 year old...
@SIMBM Thanks, found and enjoyed that! My parents are in their mid-90's and still going strong, so I look at aging differently than many people do.
