hang on? i just added some new family members to my att cell plan, and then they told me i would save to switch plans, and then they put us all on separate plans, and then they acted like i hadn’t been a customer for the last two decades, hmmm, there’s no pattern, amiright?
@Yoda_Daenerys hopefully this is the opposite of that pattern. AT&T screwed me similarly twice in the past 18 months. “Accidentally” creating multiple full accounts for my family and then refusing to refund back beyond 90 days. I definitely oppose that.
@snapster yea, the aftermath of a couple BOGO transactions is really costing me in time and perhaps money, unless i am willing to keep chatting all day long with them. i like playing good cop/bad cop in these scenarios, where i take on both roles

Technically, VMP is a closed program that will never get any new benefits. Staying subscribed merely grandfathers you in to past benefits. However, we’re currently in a mode of crafting our membership programs and the mutual best plan for the company and VMP members is to jump start those programs by defaulting VMPs as automatic members. The first half was launched without notice over at MorningSave and it is the Checkout.org local membership level at $2/month.
If you are a VMP, you can log out and see what others see on the sign up page. It’s not that exciting. A new member joining at $2/month has a custom view of that page as well.

I got screwed out of my VMP. I added a new credit card (old one expired) and meh charged it the month I added it (February), but when march came around, they tried to charge the old card even though I removed it when I added the new one. Now I can’t get it back, and no response from meh about it. I haven’t bought anything since, and I won’t until I get my VMP back (and I usually buy something every week). If I wasn’t married it would be an empty threat, but my wife hates when I buy shit from meh…so she’s happy I’m on strike.

@jzmacdaddy I’ve been looking into this. We responded to your support case on April 4th asking for you to update your default payment settings on your https://meh.com/account page and never heard back from you. Doesn’t look like your default payment setting was changed either.
I’m deleting all your saved payment settings since you have an expired card. Once you’ve added your preferred default payment setting let me know and we’ll get your VMP going again.
@shawn Did you send an email? If so, I never got it…not even in the spam folder. Anyways, I updated the default payment and added the “good” card I had on their previously.

How far in advance before the monthly billing date do we need to change out an expiring card in order to have the next charge go thru ok?
