I FINALLY FINISHED THIS THING!
70No, not a thesis, because that sounds like, really hard. This is a thing that I have been contemplating for many months, but I kept talking myself out of it. The main obstacle was finding a working jack-in-the-box toy for cheap. I couldn’t find a used one in local thrift stores and I didn’t want to get one online. At Target recently I decided to check the price of a new toy, but they only had one left, and it had no price and no outer packaging. After asking the manager, he let me have it for one dollar. After that, my only obstacle was my inability to sew, but I faked that as best I could. Video proof of my lack of sewing skills:

With the right box on @mathew's arm, we won't be able to tell them apart.
That is pretty awesome, good job!

Start a contest, make it a prize!
@Trillian I like it!
The suspense was killing me!
Love It !!!!!!
Cool and very clever!
I think I peed a little.
I think that bothers me more than it should. :)
I'm disturbed, and that's a very good thing. Great job!
Definitely saw it coming, definitely still laughed my ass off when it happened. Awesome.
Wow. That is delightfully terrifying!
Stop that, you're scaring the kids. (Actually, damned impressive work tho.)
I'm afraid I enjoyed that entirely too much.
Most excellent!!!
That is some serious skilz!
You are awesome!
Love it! I got the side-eye from the wife when I busted out a laugh.
Slow Clap
This is pretty cool, @Trillian. What made you think of an Irk-in-the-box?
@Barney Thanks for all the kind comments y’all! I have been impatiently waiting for an Irk plush for over a year, so I started thinking about making my own. Since Irk is a pants-free kind of guy, I was stumped as to how I would make him. This was kind of a lazy way to avoid that problem! It would be fun to see if someone could make a version with Glen, a goat, or Tiny Tub Mummy. We’ve got some really talented people here.
@Trillian Yep, we've got some pretty talented people here and YOU are one of them.
OK, I saw it yesterday and loved it, but what's so great is that its still fun to watch today. It made laugh again just now.
Amazing job (and I love how the background is perfectly meh!)!
i popped out loud laughing, good job
@cattylaq jesus.. what popped out? they make a cream.
calling @medz to this thread. You know what you have to do.
@marklog Will these suffice?
@medz omg yes yes yes.
@medz I love it! I wish I could tell my co-workers why I’m laughing so hard, but they must never know my secret identity.
@medz that last one.
@hollboll Glad you like it.
@medz that's awesome and terrifying at the same time.
@medz Why can't I stop watching?!
@jaremelz I'm not exactly sure, but it's giving me a headache and nosebleed...
@medz omg, I'm dying. This is the greatest and most terrifying one yet.
@medz Side effects of pop-up @hollboll can include, but are not limited to; dizziness, nausea, profuse sweating, paralyzing giggle fits, and night terrors.
@Trillian Nice job! Got a smile out of me.
That is so cool! Really nice job.
