Wow. “Desktop with multiple monitors” is about twice as high as “Tablet”. That doesn’t speak well for tablets. Although to be honest I’m here about 93% of the time on a tablet. But I just got home after a gig and am on the iMac so had to pick “Desktop with multiple monitors”.
@SSteve Considering that Microsoft’s entire design strategy for the past 5+ years has been based on some notion that the PC is dead and tablets were the New Thing, yes, it’s sad for tablets.
I spent a considerable amount of time trying to do real work in windows 10 on a surface pro in tablet mode this weekend. It wasn’t great.
I just signed up to say I love the snarky nature of this site and I wish I could afford to get one of these monitors because the prices are so darn groovy.
@nrh117 Welcome to Meh! I’m a latecomer too. There’s a fair amount of insanity here, and as they said on today’s page, when my time isn’t valuable, I come here! Usually when I can’t sleep…
@chienfou how did it turn out after you said the “S”(slow) word? We never said that word, in the OR, when I was still working. You could get beat up for saying it! Wifey says the same, if you said it in the ER’s, where she worked. You can conjure a bay overflowing with ambulances, the helipad with LifeFlight helo, and the waiting room packed to overflowing, just by speaking that word. Words can be very powerful!
@IWUJackson , @Lurker actually, it stayed pretty slow the whole shift.
After 25 years doing this I am well aware that using the S word or the Q word (quiet) does no more to create havoc than does the full moon. You just remember those times and make the association.
That being said… I don’t think posts on meh count the same as saying it out loud locally!
Through my eyeballs, duh.
@therealjrn what if they’re someone else’s eyeballs?
/youtube minority report gap scene
@RiotDemon They are mine now!
@RiotDemon Hey RiotDemon! You look like you could use a Guinness!
Thru my derangements.
On my fancy-schmancy chromebook, purchased at none other than meh.com.
My first meh purchase, in fact.
@mamawoot It still works?
@mamawoot Same here! But this thing is neither fancy nor schmancy. Not an ounce of schmancitude to be found, I’m afraid.
Most times I would use a desktop with multiple monitors. But tonight I’m just chilling with my phone

@SSteve If you have a clunky phone who needs a tablet, they are toys unless it’s a surface or note with a real pen.
@cranky1950
Proof that I’m childish.
Cause I play with toys.
@f00l senile childish is in the eye of the beholder.

@nrh117 Welcome to the Meh that is craziness.
…or is that the craziness that is Meh?
Either way, Meh isn’t real Meh, at all. Kind of ironic; isn’t it?

@nrh117 welcome!
Normally using my desktop but on a tablet right now since I’m at work and the ER is slow…

@Lurker By the fact that he never replied, I think you know the answer.

Normally I’m on my phone but it’s updating so I’m on my laptop now.
I’m on a laptop that I use as a desktop with an external monitor.
On a laptop in a docking station with a dual monitors and altec stereo on a variadesk.
