Saw it yesterday. I’m a fan of Wes Studi. I think my favorite part of the film was hearing so much Cheyenne spoken. It’s not a language you get much opportunity to hear. I also liked the significant character growth of most characters in the film.
@RiotDemon Many native American nations were just as territorial and warlike with one another as those of Europe and other continents. People are people. From my limited knowledge, the plains tribes tended to be especially nomadic and warlike.
It’s a pretty good film. I want more people to go see it so it’s profitable. As of two weeks in it’s at about a ten million dollar loss. Logan Lucky got screwed hard in this way, and that was a God tier film.

I felt very ignorant because I didn’t know about the Comanche and Cheyenne rivalry.
