@jouest More than one might think? I don’t even wear then, but I have three from Aldi, one from woot, possibly one from the Chicago Botanic Garden and the original meh one (we had a flood 7 years ago, and moved a couple of years ago, and I haven’t seen those two but still have boxes–they might be here, might be buried in a riverbed), a couple I just have for some reason, and one that looks like a series of leaves. And then, like one or two more, maybe?
Ages ago during the marathon there was a Keanu Reeves as jesus or something like that tote bag. I didn’t grab one in time and check every single meh-rathon hoping they find a moldy box or something in the back of the warehouse with a few more.
@Sneakertree That is a bittersweet memory for me because that mehrathon was when I realized Archie McPhee would never do their amazing mystery boxes again. Because they’re selling the stuff to close-out sites instead. Sigh.
@jouest@narfcake Ehrmagehrd! Was this our shipment of fail? (Here we just call them IRKs)
But I enjoyed it; I think only that other site has cat shirts, sometimes lots of them.
so I looked into a list of cat breeds to see what we could do:
Mehncoon
HiMehlayan
SiaMeh
Mehnx
And my favorite just your basic Meh cat with uncertain origins. And no warranty.
Things I currently need and would probably buy today:
Arcade1up risers
Powerbank with built-in usb-c
Super cheap flash drives
Thing I don’t really need but would probably buy anyways:
Buldak carbo, preferably big bowls, but cups or packs works too.
Ballsy trimmer
Those boogie board tablet things, but in like a 1 or 2 pack.
Also feel free to toss any of those things into my IRK.
@jouest@KSchweitz@pmarin The endoscopes are a real thing, and inexpensive. I have two. I recently used one to examine a lesion behind my left ear. (The lesion was removed this afternoon.)
I think we need bags made that have that lining to help keep food cool like you would take to the grocery store but have that foil lining in it it’s not foil but you know what I mean
@Cerridwyn that would be a super bonus surprise if one batch of IRKs had those. And I like the size and versatility but honestly would wish for a bit smaller IRK bag. Have you seen the recent runs on any mini bag that TJs issues?
@pmarin yes to tjs. But I’m thinking of something a little bit bigger. I’ve gotten them as swag at Food related festivals like the California artisan cheese festival so probably about the size of the old Fuku bags not the current irk bags
@Kyeh I only go to TJ’s about twice a year. Ours is not the worst I have been in, but in the bottle 25%. It actually does have all the parking you would ever want though. There are only a few things I would go in there to buy, and I don’t need them often.
I have had two different styles from the cheese festival swag. The second one was bigger but fell apart. I could sew it I guess, but …
I had one before from Vons (Safeway / Albertsons) and it finally disintegrated. It really makes a difference.
@jouest@Pony however the groceries from here don’t come with meh bags and the groceries from here definitely need something to cause you to click buy - which wouldn’t be due to the groceries sold on here.
@cf1 for that matter any classic small 4-cylinder pickup like we can’t get here anymore. Maybe even a Datsun. Or Subaru Brat. (By weird automaker monopoly and politician collaboration)
@pmarin Closest these days is a Ford Maverick, which I was considering if a hybrid XLT could be had for under $25k. Dealers were greedy, though, so that has since been tossed out the window as it no longer makes sense anymore. Against my current hybrid, the ROI is about 100 years.
@Kyeh Ramen cat bed is a must-have. And I don’t even have new cat(s) yet but hope to soon. Also know someone that will love this as a gift. I was bummed that links didn’t work, so I will search.
@Kyeh
Definitely the little prepworks thing for soups and hens. I’m really surprised that I haven’t seen that here. I’m all reality you can use an ice cube tray but who has house anymore?
@Star2236 Hens? But yeah, these are a great idea. I have a 1-cup version and I’ve used it to freeze rice, and also beans. This one I’m planning to freeze sauces & salsas, because I can never use a whole jar before they start to mold.
I have a bad habit of overstuffing the freezers. But thereshould:be space if you make it fur an ice cube tray. Modern ones aren’t designed for it cause icemaker so you have to plan space.
Granted once it’s more than one person. Etc etc. i have 10% experience on the food making. Vs for 1.
@pmarin Beware or I will offer to drive either of two pairs of very nice tabbies up to you. The fact that you are in a very rectangular state is not necessarily an obstacle.
I have to stop buying fanny packs, but… the meh fanny pack.
@mossygreen I mean…how many fanny packs do you have?
@jouest More than one might think? I don’t even wear then, but I have three from Aldi, one from woot, possibly one from the Chicago Botanic Garden and the original meh one (we had a flood 7 years ago, and moved a couple of years ago, and I haven’t seen those two but still have boxes–they might be here, might be buried in a riverbed), a couple I just have for some reason, and one that looks like a series of leaves. And then, like one or two more, maybe?
@jouest @mossygreen those hairy fat beel bellies are so gross but cool!
Ages ago during the marathon there was a Keanu Reeves as jesus or something like that tote bag. I didn’t grab one in time and check every single meh-rathon hoping they find a moldy box or something in the back of the warehouse with a few more.
@Sneakertree Was that the same mehrathon as the silica packet crossbody bags? I’m still sorry I missed those.
@mossygreen yea! It was a bunch of really wonky awesome stuff. I think that was the debut of the wolf head mask which they still occasionally have.
LEGOS! EGGOS! STRATEGO! AWESOME!
@Sneakertree its value will only increase with age. (Give or take the mold.)
@Sneakertree That is a bittersweet memory for me because that mehrathon was when I realized Archie McPhee would never do their amazing mystery boxes again. Because they’re selling the stuff to close-out sites instead. Sigh.
@Sneakertree Keanu Jesus was so hot for a minute there.
@Sneakertree I got one of those Saint Keanu tote bags! A true classic.
I can haz catshirts?
@narfcake this reference is now old enough to drink
@jouest @narfcake Ehrmagehrd! Was this our shipment of fail? (Here we just call them IRKs)

@metaphore boogie boards! (sorry, forgot about those…)
@metaphore Big fan of the Ballsy.
Pocket microscope or mini endoscope; foam bath mat 2 pk
@KSchweitz don’t look at the bath mat with the microscope.
@jouest @KSchweitz the endoscope could be all sorts of fun with your friends!
@jouest @KSchweitz @pmarin The endoscopes are a real thing, and inexpensive. I have two. I recently used one to examine a lesion behind my left ear. (The lesion was removed this afternoon.)

@Cerridwyn I’d definitely buy one of those! I ave a big TJ’s one in purple, but I’d get a Meh one too.
@Kyeh I only go to TJ’s about twice a year. Ours is not the worst I have been in, but in the bottle 25%. It actually does have all the parking you would ever want though. There are only a few things I would go in there to buy, and I don’t need them often.

Trying to figure what Bob Ross has to do with it all. Meh’ducate me.
@KSchweitz Bob Ross is in all things.
@jouest @KSchweitz Happy little things.
@jouest @KSchweitz Chuck Norris disagrees.
@pmarin Chuck Norris can kick a cholla. Barefoot.
A Ford GT. Not fussy about which version, but I would like Gulf livery.
@blaineg tough but fair
Drain snake
@pakopako ‘cause, like too much Buldak and salami sticks?
A suitcase, over 30" tall, preferably sold individually.
@klynb so it can ride the smallest roller coasters
I just wish they’d go bag to the old type of tote bags that they used for fuku/fukos. The big wide bags they use for IRKs are terrible for groceries.
@Pony hey, you’re supposed to buy your groceries from here!
@jouest @Pony however the groceries from here don’t come with meh bags and the groceries from here definitely need something to cause you to click buy - which wouldn’t be due to the groceries sold on here.
Glue sticks that I can donate to my local school
@AnnaB Amazon has been selling their 2 packs for a quarter this BTS season.
https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Basics-Washable-School-Sticks/dp/B0CRCWCGNW/
A Toyota Corolla, preferably pre-2010
@cf1 for that matter any classic small 4-cylinder pickup like we can’t get here anymore. Maybe even a Datsun. Or Subaru Brat. (By weird automaker monopoly and politician collaboration)

Art supplies, like the paint sticks I bought during the pandemic.
A banana for scale
Recently bought from Amazon, but would have bought them here - a black light flashlight, and this freezer thingie:
In my wishlist on Amazon:
And THIS!!!
Oh, and replacement filters for the Shark air purifier I bought here a while back.
@Kyeh Ramen cat bed is a must-have. And I don’t even have new cat(s) yet but hope to soon. Also know someone that will love this as a gift. I was bummed that links didn’t work, so I will search.
@pmarin New cats! Please show them off when you get them. Sorry about the links but I just wanted to give Meh ideas.
@Kyeh

@Kyeh @Star2236
I assume hens = things.
House = space.

I make big batches though/like leftovers

@werehatrack

@Kyeh @unksol
I have no idea lol, obviously was autocorrect or something.
Stasher bags! The big ones!
Tek soft adult toothbrushes…getting hard to find!
postal scale! Mine broke.
@RetreadNJ A kitchen scale can work. Sometimes available on one of the related sites.
Winning lottery tickets.
A time travel device to make the post I’m making now on Aug 10th appear 13 days later on the 23rd.
