Hearty thanks from all the clumsy/sick children!
24I received what are probably the last of the last of the fidget spinners and brought them to the clinic. Hopefully they will last until Meh is able to get their claws into the next kid fad. Meh was probably thrilled to clear out the space, but it was very nice of you all, none the less. I know Meh gets a lot of grief in the comments when people aren’t pleased, so here’s a “Well done, you!”to warm your cold, dark hearts. Except for Mediocrebot. It knows what it did.

I got some of the spinners too. They are distracting children of all ages at my job. When parents allow, I am sending them home with happy kids. We even found a working led one this week!
I try to leave good feedback when I find good service. One of the top complaints is no positive comments from management to employees.
Oh…there’s still more @mtb002…
@therealjrn
Hey, there they are! They’re like Han Solo, they’ll never be really gone.
We did spinners for Halloween again last year. Despite none of the batteries in them being any good, we still got a lot of kids and word spread…many were returning trick-or-treaters from last year!
@PooltoyWolf
Yes, they are a hit for Halloween, but this year it was 30 degrees and snowing, we only had about half the normal number of trick or treaters. The snow meant I couldn’t put out any of the foggers or many of the animatronics, so while it was still cool, it wasn’t quite up to our usual standards.
@PooltoyWolf
Picture take before the snow hit.
@mtb002 Fortunately it was still in the 80s way down here in central Florida! We put Fenris, my big inflatable wolf, out for the kids and let them hug on him and pose for pictures with their parents.
And apparently they are
distractingentertaining the GOP at the hearings too. Someone in the GOP handed them out.@mtb002 did you buy these or did meh donate the remainder of their stash?
@Kidsandliz
They donated me some, which I thought was lovely. I emailed CS and was going to buy them if they had any left, didn’t occur to me to check Morningsave. The fact that they still have them to sell and sent me some makes it even nicer!
@mtb002 That was really, really nice of them!
I have given all the older kid style/size socks that I have ended up with (none for younger kids), along with kid style gift bags in various exchanges and an irk to the Ronald McDonald house. They were absolutely thrilled. The one in Houston said they celebrated all a month’s birthdays once a month and would use all that stuff then. Walked nearly a mile in the heat one summer to get to them. The local one to me seemed less thrilled so I’ll keep taking stuff as I get it to the Houston one every time I am down there.
@Kidsandliz @mtb002 That is awesome!
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
