@DVDBZN I took it as merely a humorous observation based merely on the name. There is a reason @mike808 specifically said “Fox” as opposed to any of the other networks.
Another weird British made show with layers of the story that are never fully explained. If there is a second season I will watch it too. I want to know who Dave really is. Also I think it could have been a little less graphic and still told the story.
I watched it and I liked it. It’s not as funny as I expected (considering the cast) and Simon Pegg’s character doesn’t get much screen time. On the other hand the supernatural element has interesting stories and by the end of the series I was wishing for more episodes. Episodes are short, by the way, so the series moves pretty briskly.
Not sure if I had interest or not. I am a fan of Pegg and Frost, but I typically don’t enjoy shows about paranormal activity.
I have no problem with zombies, superheroes or singing anthropomorphic animals (things that are blatantly unreal), but the mere fact that there are people out there that believe in ghosts, I think depictions of paranormal activity bug me on a semi-conscious level. I can handle “Ghostbusters” and “Beetlejuice”, which treat the subject in a totally silly way, but based on what I can tell, “Truth Seekers” seems to treat horror aspect seriously and let the humor stand separate.
I accept this is more a foible in the way my subconscious works as opposed to a legitimate criticism.
The very fact that this was a survey question has swayed me to give it a gander. I’ve seen it advertised, but never thought to give it a try. You better not screw me Meh.
I will check it out. I do like to watch British Television. I was a Monty Python cult member back in the '70s when in High School. It takes all kinds. I was the kid the Nerds beat up. I became a career member of the US Marine Corps infantry! Thanks nerds!
Have I watched what on what?
/giphy agreed
@togle Reading Rainbow FTW!!
Why isn’t this show on Fox?
@mike808
Um… because it’s an Amazon Original. They have literally no reason to license it to other platforms.

Ok, that’s pretty funny!
Who has time to watch anything but video calls and new work emails?
Thank you for the ‘no’ option.

Not yet, but Simon Pegg & Nick Frost? It’s on my list.
@blaineg Ok, it’s now in my list too.
Pegg and Frost. Need I say more!
Love Peg and Frost, but don’t have Amazon Prime.
I know, it’s almost sacrilegious

YES! It’s good. I need to go watch some more episodes. Malcom McDowell is the best!
I started and I like it so far.
