Have you seen Comet NEOWISE?

It was too light Friday when I tried. I saw it today, but thin clouds spoiled any chance of photos.
You can see it with the naked eye, but it’s better with binoculars. And that’s a telescope shot above.

I guess I need to calibrate my telescope.
Better in the evenings next weekend, I believe: https://www.space.com/comet-neowise-visibility-july-2020.html
Some good photos, and how to find it info.

I tried last night but the sky was too hazy…I need to get a telescope or good binoculars
@musmagic I think you can only see it in the morning right now? You should be able to see it at night later in the month of it doesn’t disappear first.
I keep hoping but it has been too cloudy each night so far.
The two times I have been there looking it’s been cloudy to the north east although I did see Venus slightly further to the south
I haven’t yet seen the comet, but I would swear that Meh sold a Neowise air fryer back in the day.
got a clear night last night and managed to grab a couple shots. oh to have that 600mm zoom the person next to me had.
The last couple of weeks around here were all dry, sunny and hot. Now that we have the best opportunity to see it without having to stay up all night or wake up before dawn, the weather forecast calls for storms through the end of the weekend.
Oh well, it’s not the end of the world. On the other hand, its discovery at this time with the current world conditions seems curiously coincidental.
